We are looking for a versatile and impact-driven Regional Infra & Operations Insights Analyst to join our Regional Retail team and help shape how we organize, activate and leverage data across our Retail Business Unit. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on both building solid data foundations and delivering clear business insights. Your first mission will be to take ownership of our information architecture, covering designing reliable pipelines, ensuring structure and accessibility, and preparing our environment for scale. Over time, your focus will expand to include performance insights and advanced analytics, turning raw information into visibility, insights and actions, as well as managing data-related key projects under Retail function. As part of a fast-moving AI-powered organization, you will work with cutting-edge tools and collaborate with brilliant minds from our product, operations and commercial teams. Key Pillars of the Role Information Architecture You will be responsible for designing, building, optimizing, and scaling our data pipelines and models. This includes mapping our current setup, streamlining access to high-quality insights and collaborating with technical teams to ensure a secure and scalable infrastructure. Governance & Quality Assurance You will be able to independently establish and enforce data reliability practices, ensuring clean, consistent and compliant standards on top of investigating root causes of any discrepancy and deploying necessary fixes. This includes documenting logic, definitions and usage guidelines for key datasets. Dashboarding The role involves initiating, developing, and maintaining dashboards that enhance clarity and empower cross-functional decision-making. You will help define key metrics and make performance visible through self-service reporting tools. Analytical Insights Performing deep-dives and ad-hoc analyses to address business challenges, unlock insights and uncover opportunities will be a key part of the role, with a strong emphasis on simplifying complexity to support our leadership, commercial and operations teams. Cross-functional Collaboration Acting as a business partner with diverse teams across product, operations, commercial and regional leadership to align priorities, define success metrics and turn data into actionable business results. Ad-Hoc Project Driver You will lead or contribute to cross-functional projects that drive measurable value, whether by supporting Retail initiatives beyond your core responsibilities, enhancing user experience or identifying performance improvement opportunities.
• Work with colo vendors to review the design for new Data Centers, including design input, submittal review and incorporating AWS products to ensure the design is meeting AWS expectations. • Act as resident engineer during new colo construction projects. Support construction, commissioning, and handover. • Troubleshoot, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and create Corrective Action (CA) documentation for site/equipment failures. • Directly support operational issues with ad-hoc training, complex operating procedure reviews, including essential equipment, and event support. • Provide technical support to the design for existing data center upgrades and design-solutions, which add capacity, improve availability, and increase efficiency. • Supporting operating partners to lead, review, and approve designs for existing co-location (colo) data center upgrades which improve availability/efficiency. • Interface with operating partners, data center design engineering team, server hardware team, environmental health and safety team to promote standards that maintain consistency and reliability in services delivered by operating partners. • Work on concurrent projects, sometimes in multiple geographical regions. • Initiate and lead engineering site audits within leased or colo data centers. Produce reports outlining risks with recommended mitigations and remediation's. • Lead complex root cause analysis for equipment failures. • Ability to develop solutions and execute plans on complex projects. A day in the life Each day you will interact with different teams responsible for all aspects of the data centers. You will prioritize your activities to support data center capacity availability and safety focusing on the actions that are most impactful. You will have the opportunity to work on projects locally and globally.
• Act as the primary interface between regional operations team and global teams in terms of tech initatives and AI technology • Collaborate with global teams to ensure alignment of local AI initiatives with global strategy and architecture • Participate in global steering committees and strategy sessions to represent organization interests • Identify and prioritize AI/digital transformation opportunities, develop organization's three-year tech strategic roadmap with actionable plan and quantifiable outcome • Work with Tech and Operations team on AI integration and system architecture design • Establish partnerships with stakeholders across internal orgnizations and external partners, e.g AWS, CMs, 3P vendors
