工作职责
1. Manage Alibaba Malaysia Johor Bahru critical Data Center IT & Asset operations, involved in Data Center build-outs and scaling. 2. Responsible for the daily operation maintenance and service management of the computer room within the jurisdiction, balance the service quality, efficiency, cost and safety in combination with the actual situation, and continuously optimize and improve to support the business operations of the department; 3. Responsible for responding to and handling Ali IDC risk events and emergency fault handling, and realizing controllable operation risks such as IDC changes and faults; 4. Responsible for establishing efficient cooperative relations with government departments and completing the compliance operation requirements assigned by government departments; 5. Undertake on-site technical support for business equipment, understand business needs and network structure, and promote the implementation of operation projects between teams; 6. Responsible for the talent echelon construction, capacity training, risk control, team culture construction, on-site operation and maintenance team management and assessment of the IDC on-site operation and maintenance team; 7. Technical leader managing team and consultants to implement the data center operations in normal and emergency situations. 8. Recommend, document, and oversee policies and procedures to meet industry best practices and to meet required SLAs. 9. Coordinate external vendors, ensure the resource’s supply and delivery, match business’s growth. 10. Provide instructions to vendors, installation contractors and validate quality of vendor works on site. 11. Responsibility for outsourcing and vendor management of colocation Data Centre services providers to meet or exceed contracted performance SLA’s. 12. Respond on an as-needed basis to emergencies in regional Alibaba DCs, including traveling to site and to provide on-site support.
· Provide technical support for the on-site management of contractors, sub-contractors and vendors, ensuring that all work performed is in accordance with established practices, procedures & local legislation. · Provide technical support for performance benchmarks establishment, conduct analyses, and prepare reports on all aspects of the data center facility infrastructure operations and maintenance. · Generate change management requests & incident management tickets for DCEO activities. · Work with DCO managers (IT) and other business leaders and operating partners to coordinate projects, manage capacity, and optimize plant safety, performance, reliability, sustainability and efficiency. · Establish documentation relevant to technical support of business & facility operations. · Responsible for supporting the installation of the racks and the provision of power/cooling. · Support the COLO management of both routine maintenance and emergency services on a variety of essential systems such as: switchgear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, chillers, cooling towers, computer room air handlers, building monitoring systems, etc. · Assist in the design, implementation, commissioning and build out of new facilities. · Drive & implement projects to increase current facility capacity, efficiency, sustainability & reliability. · Assist in recruiting efforts. · Support operating partners in the resolution of any infrastructure engineering issues. · This role might involve covering 24x7 shift rotation 岗位职责： • 为承包商、分包商和供应商的现场管理提供技术支持，确保所有工作符合既定流程、程序和当地法律。 • 支持建立执行标准，对数据中心基础设施的运维和维护各个方面进行分析并撰写报告。 • 为数据中心的日常工作创建变更管理请求和事件管理工单。 • 与DCO经理（IT）和其他部门主管以及现场IDC服务运营商合作，协调完成项目，管理站点容量，优化站点安全性，可用性，可靠性，可持续性和效率。 • 撰写，创建与业务和设施运维的技术支持相关的文件。 • 负责支持机柜的安装和机柜供电，供冷。 • 支持COLO（Co-Location，现场提供IDC服务的运营商）的日常常规维护和数据中心基本系统的紧急服务，如：开关柜，柴油发电机，UPS系统，配电设备，冷机，冷塔，精密空调，楼宇监控系统等。 • 协助新数据中心/机房的设计，实施，调试和建设。 • 推动并实施项目，以提高现有设施的产能，效率，可持续性和可靠性。 • 协助招聘工作。 • 支持运维合作伙伴解决运维中遇到技术问题。 • 可能参与轮换倒班以支持24x7的工作需求。
Logistics Specialists receive parts, maintain inventory, transfer and return parts as needed for Technicians in multiple data centers. This role manages the storage, and ensures a safe and neat workplace . Duties include but not limited to: - Receiving, stowing and picking, packaging and shipping, sorting and counting of computer hardware parts physically and logically. - Working on part request from Technicians and reviewing inventory availability. - Monitor Logistics dashboards and request for actions to ensure that the InfraOps meet the KPI target. - Balance the inventory within the cluster and region when needed - Coordinate with procurement and vendor to schedule part delivery. Track and update shipment status and manage the delivery issues with transportation vendors - Storage facility management and administration. Cycle count, daily audit, 7S etc. - Complying with inventory process in part handling activities for instance parts quarantine, media parts, critical parts control. - Participation in continuous improvement initiatives in addition to day-to-day inventory requests. - Process RMA to vendors and scrap parts A day in the life Working hours from 9:00-18:00 on Monday to Friday business days.

Responsibilities: English (both written and spoken English) as standard language to fulfill responsibilities below - Support maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment - Assist root cause analysis of equipment failures - Assist in troubleshooting of facility and rack-level events within internal SLA - Ensure all safety procedures are adhered to while performing work - Support take daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment - Able to work a 12 hour shift to support 24/7 operations (rotating 3 to 4 day work weeks)
