We seek a visionary and dynamic Country Lead to lead our venture in Malaysia. As the Country Head, you will be responsible for spearheading the growth, development, and strategic direction of our finance platform. You will play a pivotal role in driving business development, enhancing product offerings, and ensuring efficient liquidity management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong finance, business development, and operational management background, with a passion for innovation and a keen understanding of the evolving fintech landscape. Business Development: • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and alliances to expand the reach and capabilities • Drive business growth by exploring new market opportunities, developing innovative solutions, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders. Product Development: • Oversee the development and enhancement of product offerings, ensuring alignment with market demands and customer needs. • Lead product roadmap planning, prioritization, and execution to maintain competitiveness and drive user engagement. Liquidity Management: • Develop and implement strategies for effective liquidity management, optimizing cash flow, and minimizing risk exposure. • Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and macroeconomic factors to proactively manage liquidity risks and enhance financial stability. Operational Excellence: • Provide leadership and direction in all operational matters, including risk management, compliance, and regulatory adherence. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and drive operational excellence across the organization. Portfolio Management: • Oversee the management of portfolio, including the assessment of use cases, performance tracking, and portfolio optimization. • Implement strategies to maximize returns, mitigate risks, and ensure the long-term sustainability of the portfolio
● Oversee operations of worldfirst.com to achieve bar-raising quality and consistency by working closely with UI/UX and technical teams to improve the visual presentation of the brand and website user experience. ● Set goals and KPIs for conversion that help meet broader website and acquisition team goals. ● Lead content and project management efforts for WorldFirst's official website to ensure smooth operations. And manage localization workflows for website content, ensuring timely and accurate translations, ensuring clarity and cultural sensitivity. Adapt website designs, layouts, and user interfaces to accommodate different languages and cultural preferences. ● Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external customers to plan, create, and modify content assets for the website. ● Use data and other insights to develop the web page optimization roadmap, execute and track the performance of initiatives.
· Daily responsibilities on entities wise transactional and account level reconciliation on banks and acquirers, investigate and resolve on settlement discrepancies, working closely with customer service on case handling, other supporting functions including but not limited to chargeback, refund, and wallet withdrawal. · Daily monitoring on incoming fund and ensuring sufficient liquidity, on time settlement and remittance to merchants, compliance to safeguarding requirement. · Proper documentation of the responsible entities’ process and SOP, monthly reporting or whenever required to on regulatory, financial, MDR and CFTB. · Review and align on the operational process, perform analysis and identify area of improvement on system enhancement, process excellence, revise SOP etc. ensuring operation is compliance with country regulation. · Cross departments collaboration with business, technology, product and so on to support new project and new channel going LIVE.
You will be responsible for leading the overseas training team. By identifying skill and knowledge gaps within our regional overseas sales teams, you will design targeted knowledge frameworks, and build, implement, and optimize professional training and development systems. Your work is expected to drive a significant improvement in sales efficiency and have a measurable, positive impact on overseas business growth. Key Responsibilities Strategy & System Development: Independently design and iteratively improve the training framework for our international business regions. This includes, but is not limited to, designing differentiated learning paths for sales personnel at various stages (e.g., new hires, existing employees) across different regions (such as Southeast Asia, Europe, the Americas), building instructor and evaluation systems, and managing multilingual knowledge repositories. Training Needs Diagnosis & Solution Design: Develop talent competency models. Analyze gaps between frontline sales capabilities and business objectives across regions, identify deficiencies in product knowledge and sales skills, and design targeted learning solutions. Content Development & Localization: Lead the development, adaptation, and localization of high-quality training content (e.g., product knowledge, sales techniques, compliance/risk control, career development) based on needs analysis. Ensure content effectively addresses skill gaps while being market-relevant and culturally appropriate. Training Delivery & Enablement: As the owner of overseas training implementation, lead the team in delivering diverse training formats (workshops, live online sessions, virtual classrooms, e-learning) to overseas employees and ensure training effectiveness. Effect Evaluation & Iteration: Establish a robust training evaluation framework (e.g., utilizing models like Kirkpatrick’s Four Levels) aligned with business efficiency goals. Continuously measure impact, analyze how training influences business metrics, and optimize programs based on data and feedback. Knowledge Management: Design knowledge mapping aligned with business objectives. Proactively collaborate with global product, marketing, and sales teams to identify, refine, and institutionalize best practices. Build and maintain a globally accessible knowledge repository to ensure timely updates and effective dissemination.
