1 Legal Advice and Support: • Advise internal teams (operations, sales, HR) on all legal matters related to international transport, logistics, and customs brokerage activities. • Analyze and draft contracts (transport contracts, customer/supplier agreements, partnership agreements, etc.). • Conduct legal monitoring on relevant sector regulations (transport, customs, Belgian and European social law). Pre-litigation and Litigation Management: • Identify, assess, and prevent legal risks. • Manage disputes from the amicable phase (formal notices, negotiation) through to litigation (monitoring cases with external lawyers, preparing files, participating in mediations/hearings if necessary). • Specifically handle disputes related to freight transport, contractual liabilities, customs penalties, and conflicts under Belgian social law. Operational and Commercial Support: • Actively participate in the development of commercial proposals by identifying and securing contractual aspects. • Train and raise awareness among sales and operational teams on legal risks and best practices. • Contribute to the optimization of internal processes for better legal and contract management.

We are seeking a lead Privacy Counsel to support Ant International’s growing Alipay+, Antom and Bettr business. Looking for a tech-savvy privacy lawyer who is passionate about data and eager to work on innovative issues in the fintech space and knowledgeable and experienced in China's Personal Information Protection Law. You are a business enabler. You will work closely with product and tech team, business development personnel, risk management and other legal/compliance/AML professional, and provide strategic advice to enable business growth and innovation in a privacy compliant manner. You are an effective DPO. You will establish, implement, and maintain privacy governance framework for the relevant business line and ensure compliance with applicable data privacy law and regulations. Responsibilities: Privacy Advisory: ● Provide privacy support to new product launches and initiatives in China and collaborate with APAC team for APAC initiatives. ● Analyze products, policies and initiatives to provide practical risk assessment and solution. ● Drive and implement privacy by design, understand the tech and product, and translate privacy principles into actionable product features. ● Support legal team in contract drafting and negotiation for privacy related issues. Privacy Compliance/DPO responsibilities: ● Drive and implement China’s PIPL compliance for the relevant entities as well as other applicable data privacy laws and regulations ● Monitor changes and updates in privacy legislation and advise on potential impacts to the relevant business lines.

Legal Compliance and Risk Management: 1. Conduct proactive legal and regulatory compliance analyses for OceanBase's overseas business activities in Southeast Asia, with a specific focus on supporting clients in high-growth sectors such as Internet and FinTech. 2. Pre-research and assess legal risk levels within local and regional jurisdictions, providing comprehensive risk judgments and actionable mitigation strategies tailored to specific projects and client engagements. Commercial Contract Management: Cloud Service & Software Sales: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide array of commercial agreements, including: 1. Cloud service contracts and all related ancillary agreements (e.g., Data Processing Agreements, Service Level Agreements, Pricing Addenda). 2. Various database software sales contracts. Other Business-Related Contracts: 1. Procurement contracts related to marketing activities and other operational needs. 2. Partner channel agreements, including referral and reseller contracts. 3. Legal review and preparation of legal documents required for overseas project tender submissions. Others: 1. Manage and oversee the contract approval process for the Southeast Asia region. 2. Provide daily legal advice and consultation on legal queries from regional business teams.

Provide legal assistance for the business development, local network construction, local operation and compliance matters for Cainiao’s logistics business in Brazil. Research and analyze on new business opportunity and new business models, provide legal advice, risk analysis and design contract structure, and assist on all relevant legal aspects. Research and advice on different legal topics. Draft, review and revise various kinds of contracts (logistics service contract, procurement contract, leasing contract and technical service contract, etc.) and legal documents, assist in commercial negotiation, contract execution and performance. Support the continuous improvement of standard form agreements and legal processes. Separately or manage external lawyer to manage disputes, and litigation/arbitration matters. Assist in handling emergency issues, and provide practical solutions Select high quality and cost effective external law firms and make well management. Provide legal support for other daily operation matters of local Cainiao entities in Brazil.
