As a Strategic Investment Manager, you will: Monitor and analyze emerging technology and AI trends in gaming and entertainment. Develop and maintain a strategic framework for market analysis and opportunity assessment. Build and cultivate relationships with global Tech/AI industry leaders to foster knowledge exchange with game studios, explore emerging opportunities, and drive ecosystem growth. Identify and evaluate high-potential investment opportunities and strategic partnerships at the intersection of Tech/AI and Games/Entertainment. More importantly, drive development of new opportunities and incubate new businesses Work directly with senior management across global and domestic games markets. Work in a team with high-calibre executives previously from top-tier consultancy firms and investment banks. You will be responsible for supporting decision-makings for executives and leaders of business groups. Provide game changing strategy and inspire out-of-the-box thinking to senior leader. Growth Strategy & Business Performance: In partnership with the GCR Activation team and the Activation GTM Leader, you will execute Cloud & AI Platforms (CAIP) solution plays to enhance ACR performance in partnership with Solution Play GTM teams. Responsible for new pipeline creation, addressing pipeline gaps by OU/segment, and implementing global strategies relevantly for your Area/Subsidiaries, including FY26 CAIP program performance. Sales Activation: In partnership with the GCR Activation team and the Activation GTM Leader, lead end-to-end solution play field activation to win customers across the CAIP solution plays including X-CSA plays such as Agentic. Resolve blockers and influence strategic improvements through field feedback loops. Partner closely with the Solution Play GTM teams and Area GTM ICs to deliver field readiness and skilling as well as capture and share insights on customer wins/losses, compete trends, and partner feedback. Demand Generation: In partnership with the GCR Activation team and the Activation GTM Leader, align and orchestrate the execution of CAIP marketing plan with Integrated Marketing Managers (IMM), Area GTM ICs and Partner roles. Push for signal conversion to create pipe and ensure successful customer targeting events. Provide content input and shape agendas to amplify CAIP priorities. Product Leadership: Act as a strong Azure and CAIP solutions advocate by demonstrating thought leadership externally with customers and partners, and internally with Corp. Champion local needs and insights to shape global product strategy, roadmap, and readiness through structured feedback loops. Understand industry trends, challenges, and regulatory requirements. MACC + Unified Stewardship: Steward MACC by advancing acquisition strategy, expanding the scope of workloads in the MACCs, accelerating ACR via Unified, expanding Unified accounts and driving data-driven optimization. Partner strongly with GCR Activation Director and the Activation GTM Leader to drive improvement in MACC penetration significantly. Operational Excellence: Partner closely with Regional and Area Sales Excellence and Sales Operations to drive sales discipline, pipeline creation and acceleration, and MCEM orchestration. Promote consistent use of programs and investments as well as standardized services and tools in the field sales teams. Partner with Area Activation Director to drive a connected ROB that tracks end-to-end business health, aligning sales and marketing insights with Corp through VSU, IAP, and other key cadences. Acts as a subject matter expert on a particular competition. Where applicable, builds consumption plans with moderately complex requirements in coordination with Partner and Industry Solutions Delivery teams after customer sign-off.Proactively develops strategic cross-workload/subsidiary and account level responses to specific market threats by identifying market patterns and delivering feedback to business group on trends and needs. EducationBuilds readiness plans for peers and proactively identifies gaps and new opportunities for learning. Provides insight onto Corporate, business and product groups, sales strategy, and business reviews for impact.Acts as a technical thought leader by sharing best practices (e.g., architectures, materials) and regularly delivering content at Microsoft events (e.g., TechReady). Provides insight into how to identify opportunities to increase solutions/portfolio understanding.Monitors, responds to, and acts as a thought leader on internal tech community posts, establishes and leads vibrant tech communities including community calls, sessions, hackathons, etc., and acts as a mentor to the community. Leverage Partner EcosystemScales wins through partner in a sell-with environment by promoting the partner within the Microsoft ecosystem (e.g., account teams) and developing deep partner relationships.Supports partner technical capacity by monitoring and analyzing resources through interactions, communicating with managers, and identifying new partnership opportunities to build subsidiary strategy. Scale Customer EngagementsLeverages knowledge of resources (e.g., roles, Microsoft Technology Center [MTC], demo sites, virtual sites, Value Based Delivery [VBD], Customer Success Unit [CSU) and proactively engages product teams (e.g., engineering) to remediate escalated technical blockers by conveying impact and anticipating and addressing future potential blockers based on needs.Leads and ensures complex technical wins (e.g., cross-workload, cross-team, cross-geo, subsidiary-level impact) by establishing rules of engagement (e.g., role boundaries, handoff strategies), coaching others (e.g., technical sellers, account teams), leveraging knowledge of processes (e.g., Managed Service Provider [MSP], Managed Certified Professional [MCP]), tools, and programs (e.g., FastTrack, End Customer Investment Funds [ECIFs]). Ensures alignment of Microsoft technologies with future sector standards and requirements by working with industry boards and driving customer case studies and references.Proactively identifies and engages with key customer technical decision makers and influencers while engaging sales team and helping lead sales strategy.Uses knowledge of customer context, and deep technical, domain, and industry knowledge to build credibility with customers. Solution Design and ProofDemonstrates and oversees demonstrations (e.g., architectural design sessions, and proof of concept [POC] sessions, pilots, hackathons) of solutions based on multiple products and position solutions against competitors. Leverages partner/customer teams as needed to prove capabilities and programmatic framework for re-use by the business.Adapts and extends architecture patterns to accommodate complex customer requirements and drive integration solutions for industry flavor. Delivers assets that can be leveraged by others in the business.Applies advanced sales methodologies (e.g., challenger sales) to guide customers through digital transformation solutions and uses innovation to challenge solutions against changing technology (e.g., Power Apps).
