• As an accomplished expert in a broad research area (e.g., large language model, deep learning systems, multimodal foundation models, embodied AI, and related fields) has a comprehensive understanding of the relevant literature, research methods, and business and academic context. • Leads a joint research effort (possibly involving multiple teams/universities inside and outside of Microsoft) to pursue a long-term research agenda which is in line with MSRA strategy. • Fosters cooperative relationships with academic communities, industry partners, and business groups within Microsoft to establish MSRA presence locally and support future growth. • Creates synergy among MSRA research groups in multiple locations to enable collaboration and creativity
• Design, build, and optimize containerized inference execution for LLM applications, ensuring efficiency and scalability. These applications may run in container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes to enable scalable and robust deployment. • Ensure the performance and scalability of NIMs through comprehensive performance measurement and optimization. • Apply container expertise to create and optimize the basic building blocks of NIMs, influencing the development of many models and related products within NVIDIA. • Collaborate, brainstorm, and improve the designs of inference solutions and APIs with a broad team of software engineers, researchers, SREs, and product management. • Mentor and collaborate with team members and other teams to foster growth and development. Role Overview： We are seeking a Senior Equity Research Analyst with deep expertise in overseas equities and new economy sectors, particularly Chinese ADRs, Hong Kong-listed internet companies, consumer chains, education, and virtual assets. This role is customized for a highly experienced analyst with proven market influence, strong revenue contribution, and the ability to lead thematic research and client engagement across both Chinese and international institutional investors. Key Responsibilities： Research & Thought Leadership - Lead in-depth equity research on overseas-listed Chinese companies and Hong Kong equities, with a focus on: 1. Internet & Media 2. Chain-based consumer businesses 3. Education 4. Virtual assets / crypto-related sectors - Produce high-conviction, differentiated research including deep dives, thematic reports, and contrarian ideas. - Build proprietary research frameworks based on business model decomposition, industry comparison, and field research. - Identify market “dark horses” and turning-point opportunities ahead of consensus. Market Impact & Client Engagement - Maintain strong visibility and influence among buy-side institutions, both domestic and offshore. - Conduct roadshows, investor meetings, and bespoke research services for key clients. - Act as a recognized sector spokesperson, enhancing the firm’s brand and research reputation in overseas markets. Revenue & Performance Contribution - Drive research-related revenue through commission contribution and institutional servicing. - Consistently rank among top contributors within the research platform. - Support cross-team collaboration to maximize overall research and commercial impact. Team Leadership & Mentorship - Lead and mentor junior analysts; set research standards and workflows. - Oversee sector coverage allocation and research quality control. - Foster a culture of rigorous analysis, originality, and long-term thinking.
