Drive greater consumption (cloud and support) with customers based on analysis of both usage and needs. Leverages insights to provide guidance and recommendations to customers that expands, retains, and/or optimizes the customer’s Azure consumption. • You will apply technical knowledge and customer insights to create a modernized roadmap. Architect solutions to meet business and IT needs, ensuring technical viability of new projects and successful deployments, while orchestrating key resources and infusing key Infrastructure technologies • You will run Architectural Design Session(s) to build plans for implementing solutions which align to customer business goals and technical environments. • You will collaborate and orchestrate with other Digital Cloud Solution Architects and the Microsoft ecosystem to ensure properly deployed cloud solutions on Azure. • Through close engagement with the customers the DCSA will work to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual team targets and accurately manage their customer progress in CRM to forecast, assess risk, and identify exceptional performance plans in weekly deal and pipeline reviews with their manager.

Qualifications • 7+ years of enterprise IT or cloud solution sales experience, with a focus on complex, high-value deals. • With sales or technical experience in cloud/digital native market • Demonstrated success of selling cloud technologies, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS). • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to present technical and business value clearly to senior stakeholders. • Proven sales track record to achieve sales quota • Good understanding of cloud computing concepts such as virtualization, containers, networking (VPC, load balancing), storage (object/block/file), and database services. • Bachelor above degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. Preferred Qualifications • Knowledge of cloud-native technologies, DevOps (CI/CD), Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and AI/ML frameworks. • Familiar with Oracle technologies and competitive platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
The ideal candidate will have experience in customer-facing roles and success in leading in-depth technical Application development architecture discussions with senior customer executives, Architects, IT Management, and Developers to drive value to our customers and is open to travel to customer site as needed by business. • Understanding Customer/Partner Technical Environment (Insights about Customer/Partner and Industry): Gather customer/partner insights (e.g., feedback around technical preferences, environments, business needs, competitive landscape), and map architecture and digital transformation solutions to customer/partner business outcomes. Adapt business models, plans, and solutions to insights. • Understanding Customer/Partner Technical Environment (Internal Advocacy): Act as the voice of the customer (VOC)/partner by driving new feedback, gaps, blockers, insights, resources, etc. across communities to track, add, and prioritize, using established channels (e.g., UAT/TFT). • Architecture Design and Deployment (Architecture Proposals): Receive and synthesize data about customer/partner business and technical requirements, address them with technical architecture(s), demonstrate and prove those solutions capability and business value through design collaboration sessions with the customer/partner. • Architecture Design and Deployment (Requirements and Constraints): Apply broad technical knowledge across various architecture solutions to meet business and information technology (IT) requirements and resolve identified technical constraints. Help to shape and enhance customers' requirements. • Application Development, Architecture Design and Deployment (Resolving Blockers): Identify, escalate, and work to resolve technical blockers (e.g., changing configurations, sample coding) to accelerate architecture implementations and routes non-technical issues for removal by the appropriate party. • Trusted Advisor (Challenger Mindset): Respectfully challenge customers/partners when going in the wrong direction and escalate appropriately. • Trusted Advisor (Competitor Insights/ Differentiated Value Proposition): Understand the competitor's architecture solutions and identify Microsoft's strengths over competitive solutions to drive conversations with customers/partners and convince them of solution. • Customer Usage: Lead architecture design, resiliency reviews, and technical optimization that result in production deployment application and increase customer business value. The Senior Solutions Architect (SA) role is a pre-sales technical position in Alibaba Cloud’s international business division. Our seasoned solution architects offer comprehensive IT knowledge and industry insights when crafting solutions for customers and partners. Solution Architects are ultimately responsible for architect solutions that enable customer success. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Working closely with customers to ensure the successful delivery of Alibaba Cloud services • Design large-scale, compliant cloud infrastructures (e.g., multi-cloud, edge computing) for AI workloads (LLMs, computer vision, MLOps). • Guiding large enterprise implementation and operation, preferably in AIML/GenAI projects. • As a cloud solution architect, evangelizing and helping customers and partners understand the technical and business benefits of Alibaba Cloud products, solutions, and services • Understanding the unique requirements of customers and partners, and providing appropriate technical solutions and architecture designs based on Alibaba Cloud technologies, solutions, and services • Responsible for demo development and testing Alibaba Cloud services when necessary • Assisting customers in migrating their existing IT systems to Alibaba Cloud • Output a market insight analysis report of segmented fields based on demand information such as market development trends, market space, core scenarios, and pain points in the segmented fields. • Produce targeted solutions according to customer needs, in the project, develop a correct product selection strategy, POC test strike strategy, bidding & bid strategies, product configuration strategy, etc., achieve contract signing, and continuously ensure the increase of Alibaba Cloud's market share with this customer. • Promote the incubation and replication of public cloud solutions in segmented fields. • Identify and deal with risks of the technology and project during the solution landing process on time, collaborate with the product and delivery teams for normal fulfillment, and achieve revenue conversion. • Accumulate knowledge documentation such as universal cloud architecture templates, best practices, and cases for the segmented fields/scenarios. • Provide presentations, evangelism, and empowerment training for sales teams and eco-partners. • Abstract and summarize product requirements and defects in segmented fields, promote product improvement, new product projects, and major functions launch, and enhance product competitiveness.
