As an AIML Data Operations Team Lead, you’ll be responsible for providing daily leadership and promoting the development of 25-30 Annotation Analyst team members. You are self-motivated, friendly and have a passion to support your team’s development through critical and creative thinking. You’ll identify, promote, and implement innovative ideas to meet and exceed performance and quality goals set by leadership. You will support employees’ success through establishing relationships and seeking to understand what motivates individuals. You will oversee performance management, ensuring daily, monthly, quarterly operational metrics are met. You’ll effectively execute on management and administrative tasks such as leading staff meetings, conducting regular one-on-one’s, hiring, training, and development of employee performance. As part of the AIML Data Operations Team, you play a central role in enhancing the user experience and team collaboration. As an SPR supporting the AIML Data Operations organization you will engage with Account and Crowd Managers to define and align on project deliverables. Manage resource plan for analyst headcount, partnering with Account, Crowd Managers, Team Leads and Capacity Planning to align targets and goals across portfolio. Draft and implement policies related to performance and project management of all projects delivered from your site. Effectively communicate project status/metrics and insights to management. Partner with Account and Crowd Managers to ensure data accuracy and timeliness of data. Manage support for project approvals, prioritization and flag outliers for leadership. Coordinate site project rollout and execution (platform changes, HC, training, metrics). Bring in consistency in project delivery via standardized templates and project management best practices. Provide Tech support to analysts as needed. Work with tool owners to update/fix tools as projects come in. Successful candidates are highly organized, highly analytical, independent, able to make decisions based on data driven insights, and ready to dig into the details and get the job done despite practical or technical hurdles.
In this role, you will be leading day-to-day operations to ensure organizational delivery of high quality annotated data from the group of Team Leads you support. You will effectively lead team performance by developing Team Leads, and other Senior Annotation roles, through individual coaching, team meetings, mentor sessions, participating in interviewing and hiring, data analysis, and collaboration with other Data Operations sites. You’ll also assist in the development of tools and reports needed analyze and run the business, including workflow optimization, workforce management, and developing more efficient ways of working. You will help determine staffing requirements and participate in interviewing and hiring. The role is an office based position. Additionally, some specific supervisor shifts require certain hours to be present on campus, and can span any hours of operations.
Lead a team of Post molding process in the development of Accessories enclosure. During development phase, you will be required to: - Act as bridge between Apple design and suppliers’ manufacturing teams - Engage with Apple Design and Program Management teams at beginning stage of NPI and give continuous feedback based on manufacturing process development and evolution - Provide technical assessment of existing or new manufacturing partners - Identify manufacturing processes to meet product design - Work with suppliers to develop fixtures to ensure correct performance and mechanical requirement DESCRIPTION: In this highly visible role, you will manage selection, implementation & optimization of manufacturing processes for mechanical enclosure subassemblies for our legendary products. Responsibilities include developing new manufacturing processes to enable future product designs, conducting DOEs to validate process capability, and qualifying processes for mass production. You will utilize your Mechanical Engineering experience and work cross functionally with Product Design Engineering and Industrial Design to assess product features for manufacturability, and recommend capable production processes and equipment. You will work closely with Cupertino-based MDEs in the development of above said processes. Partner with Global Supply Managers to develop new equipment from RFQ through factory implementation, and manufacture and deliver material to downstream supply chain nodes on time and on cost. You will work with Supplier Quality Engineers to drive yield improvement through analyses of part quality, defect pareto, and SPC. A heavy emphasis will be on working with suppliers to define and refine mechanical tooling and fixtures, and establishing process capability and readiness. Coordination of activities and direction through clear communication between the Asia and US-based teams, and vendors is a necessity. You may audit supplier secondary processes and assembly processes as well as support product phase builds from prototype through ramp and mass production. Provide leadership at manufacturing sites during development and product production ramp, and drive engineering issues to resolution Use data to drive process decisions, basic data analysis, DOEs, SPC, etc. Design best-in-class process based on cosmetic and drawing requirement, mapping out and document process flow and details which includes selecting processing equipments, designing corresponding fixtures/consumables/magazines/trays, initiating DOEs to find out the best machine setups, machining path and parameters, and finalizing the process solution from prototype stage to mass production stage. Define part tolerance and specifications by demonstrating process capability to Product Designers and Industrial Designers Own yield improvement actions and process change decisions based on statistical process control (SPC) data analysis.
