Minimum Qualifications
• -  Experience as an audio/analog electrical systems engineer
• -  Experience with Audio Precision and audio analyses tools
• -  Knowledge of silicon applications (power supply, audio circuit design, amplifiers)
• -  Expertise in prototyping circuits and products in a lab
• -  Basic scripting for test automation and data analysis and visualization for reporting.
• -  Strong teammate - able to work with non-audio team members who are unfamiliar with acoustic designs

Preferred Qualifications
• -  Experience in working at a fast paced high volume consumer electronics environment
• -  Experience with Microphone ASIC technologies
• -  Hands-on experience in designing, validating, or failure analysis of electro-mechanical systems. Some experience with acoustic transducers (micro-speakers, receivers, MEMS microphones) will be highly useful
• -  Familiarity with sensing technologies and relevant electrical interfaces such as: PDM, differential analog, I2C, TDM
• -  Knowledge in SW drivers, DSP or equivalent experience preferred
• -  Experience working on subsystem coexistence in products

工作职责


Seeking hard-working analog/ASIC/audio electrical engineers for the Apple Acoustics team. Responsibilities include characterization, implementation and integration of the audio subsystem in Apple products.

Primary duties include: qualifying outstanding audio silicon, prototype bring up and debugging, production manufacturing and test support, hardware debug, functional and performance verification, SW/FW verification and signal characterization.

The applicant must possess EE fundamentals with a focus on analog and proven grounding on digital electronics. The applicant should be familiar with the audio design of portable low-power products, preferably with experience in a consumer electronics environment dealing with high- volume and high-quality products. Additionally applicant should possess some audio experience with fundamental knowledge of signals and systems.

This role requires the familiarity of SMT test processes & its supply chain, the ability to work independently, good collaboration skills, and strong communications ability both in English and Mandarin. In this role, you will design & validate SMT test stations and constantly pursue new test methods as well as labor/cost reduction and automation. The testing engineering key functions will include: - Design for Testability: Collaborate with design team to generate ERS(engineering Requirements Specification) and ensure features are tested logically and efficiently. - Test Station Qualification: Collaborate with test station vendor to bring up test station and test coverage. Use statistical tools (such as GR&R, SPC, and Cp/Cpk) to ensure processes/fixtures are repeatable. - Failure/Data Analysis: Analyze tester related failures by deep dive in test theory/algorithm, define DOEs to figure out the root cause.
