Minimum Qualifications • - Experience as an audio/analog electrical systems engineer • - Experience with Audio Precision and audio analyses tools • - Knowledge of silicon applications (power supply, audio circuit design, amplifiers) • - Expertise in prototyping circuits and products in a lab • - Basic scripting for test automation and data analysis and visualization for reporting. • - Strong teammate - able to work with non-audio team members who are unfamiliar with acoustic designs Preferred Qualifications • - Experience in working at a fast paced high volume consumer electronics environment • - Experience with Microphone ASIC technologies • - Hands-on experience in designing, validating, or failure analysis of electro-mechanical systems. Some experience with acoustic transducers (micro-speakers, receivers, MEMS microphones) will be highly useful • - Familiarity with sensing technologies and relevant electrical interfaces such as: PDM, differential analog, I2C, TDM • - Knowledge in SW drivers, DSP or equivalent experience preferred • - Experience working on subsystem coexistence in products
工作职责
Seeking hard-working analog/ASIC/audio electrical engineers for the Apple Acoustics team. Responsibilities include characterization, implementation and integration of the audio subsystem in Apple products. Primary duties include: qualifying outstanding audio silicon, prototype bring up and debugging, production manufacturing and test support, hardware debug, functional and performance verification, SW/FW verification and signal characterization. The applicant must possess EE fundamentals with a focus on analog and proven grounding on digital electronics. The applicant should be familiar with the audio design of portable low-power products, preferably with experience in a consumer electronics environment dealing with high- volume and high-quality products. Additionally applicant should possess some audio experience with fundamental knowledge of signals and systems.
: - Work with software and science teams to create data collection plans and test cases. - Running test cases on devices – such as executing use case scenario based testing - Write, read, run, and develop test scripts in collaboration with developer teams in Python. - Execute test cases, interpret, and report testing results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process - Find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution. Able to debug and restore data collection systems. - Support projects including setup and verification of all system components, trouble-shooting during set-up and live sessions, and ensure integrity and upload, metrics reporting tasks and processes, and document best practices - Provide technical support to the field operation or vendor teams - Apply knowledge of wireless and networking technologies, mobile devices, and quality assurance practices to ensure that connected devices meet all target requirements - Gaining knowledge of the features and detailed functional requirements to execute your assigned tests - Work onsite 5 days per week - Lift up to 25lbs when needed - Effective written communicator, this role will include working with international teams.
You are responsible for provide the leadership to the sDRI team, to develop and integrate system solutions that is flexible and mass-production friendly to calibrate and inspect fully assembled devices. The team will work on system design, development, and factory deployment during new product introduction (NPI) stage, with the support from SW/HW functional teams. - Manage a team of 5+ engineers with strong leadership and problem solving ability. - Work closely with design engineers, vendors, and operations teams to drive delivery of integrated systems aligned with overall project schedule - Act as lead system integrator, monitoring overall project status & securing / allocations resources needed to succeed - Lead prototype build activities; driving schedule, tracking issues to closure, managing experiments, and reporting progress - Cross-functionally communicate key developments and updates on new projects/products - Drive the day-to-day activities to meet the overall program objectives focusing on process within engineering design, build, and validation cycles
This role requires the familiarity of SMT test processes & its supply chain, the ability to work independently, good collaboration skills, and strong communications ability both in English and Mandarin. In this role, you will design & validate SMT test stations and constantly pursue new test methods as well as labor/cost reduction and automation. The testing engineering key functions will include: - Design for Testability: Collaborate with design team to generate ERS(engineering Requirements Specification) and ensure features are tested logically and efficiently. - Test Station Qualification: Collaborate with test station vendor to bring up test station and test coverage. Use statistical tools (such as GR&R, SPC, and Cp/Cpk) to ensure processes/fixtures are repeatable. - Failure/Data Analysis: Analyze tester related failures by deep dive in test theory/algorithm, define DOEs to figure out the root cause. Analyze test data to fine tune test spec, optimize test method and test time. You will travel (30%~50%) to both domestic and overseas' suppliers side for critical tasks.
