工作职责
You are responsible for provide the leadership to the sDRI team, to develop and integrate system solutions that is flexible and mass-production friendly to calibrate and inspect fully assembled devices. The team will work on system design, development, and factory deployment during new product introduction (NPI) stage, with the support from SW/HW functional teams. - Manage a team of 5+ engineers with strong leadership and problem solving ability. - Work closely with design engineers, vendors, and operations teams to drive delivery of integrated systems aligned with overall project schedule - Act as lead system integrator, monitoring overall project status & securing / allocations resources needed to succeed - Lead prototype build activities; driving schedule, tracking issues to closure, managing experiments, and reporting progress - Cross-functionally communicate key developments and updates on new projects/products - Drive the day-to-day activities to meet the overall program objectives focusing on process within engineering design, build, and validation cycles
In this role you will partner with controls systems developers, motor, actuation, sensor and power electronics engineers to develop and manufacture systems, test stations and evaluation benches for pre-production hardware. You will work on the cutting edge of Apple’s latest motion system endeavors and build high visibility prototypes that lead to production systems! - Control system integration, analysis, and testing for actuators - Prototype, develop, bring-up, debug and characterize new control techniques on real hardware. - Perform tuning & calibration on one off actuated systems - Communicate progress multi-functionally (written, verbal, and presentation) - Perform failure analysis and problem solving - Develop measurement methods and equipment that are repeatable, reproducible, and automated to enable validation coverage of actuators and sensors - Travel to supplier facilities and manufacturing sites for production validation and issues resolution
Candidate will contribute to a multifaceted software suite based on C/C++. Candidate will develop algorithms and solutions to validate and characterize RF/Wireless system performance. Candidate will develop new features to improve the RF automation testing system. Candidate will build script for the RF test data analyzing and processing. Candidate will analyze results in conjunction with multi-functional teams to identify and root cause issues.
• Work with Apple engineers and manufacturing factory's engineering team on electrical tool development, failure analysis, HW testing and validation and other HW-related cross-team support • Travel to factories in other cities may be needed • The successful candidate will be involved in various aspects of HW development related to consumer electronics, gaining invaluable industry experience
