- Partner with EHS Manager & regional EHS Leads to run large scale global EHS projects and future initiatives. - Lead EHS support for retail operations in Beijing, ensuring compliance with national and local regulations. - Develop and implement EHS policies and programs in alignment with Chinese laws and corporate standards. - Act as the primary liaison with local authorities during inspections, audits, and regulatory engagements. - ]Integrate with Retail Support Operations, Retail Supply, Store Strategies, Global Store Support, New Store Opening (NSO) & Re-model team to ensure early knowledge of potential EHS challenges and advise accordingly. - Provide insight and advice on meeting the requirements of H&S for existing and emerging Apple sites, including Retail stores. - Undertake regular site visits and provide mentorship & training to facilitate site-level compliance with applicable regulations - Ensure regular H&S assessments, inspections and safety check ins are completed and communicated to the appropriate teams. - Manage the process for reporting, investigating and communicating accidents, hazards and concerns. - Support sites with emergency response preparation, including emergency plans, training and drills. - Ability to manage the safety of large scale events - Act as point of contact for the coordination for EHS communications and issues to and from Global Retail Support. - Communicate optimally to all levels, from floor to corporate executives, the progress and trends towards achieving excellence in EHS compliance.

Physical Security:• Develop and maintain physical security standards and procedures for all facilities.• Manage access control systems, surveillance technologies (CCTV), detection, and perimeter security.• Coordinate site risk assessments and implement corrective measures.• Oversee security contractors and ensure compliance with service-level agreements. 2. Security Operations Center (SOC):• Lead 24/7 monitoring of incidents, threats, and emergencies affecting personnel, facilities, and operations.• Manage incident reporting, escalation protocols, and real-time response coordination.• Ensure SOC integration with emergency services, crisis response, and business continuity teams.• Maintain incident tracking systems and dashboards with KPIs and performance reports. 3. EHS (Environment, Health & Safety):• Implement EHS programs aligned with local regulations and global standards.• Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and compliance inspections.• Promote a safety culture through training, awareness campaigns, and best practice sharing.• Lead investigations of EHS-related incidents and ensure timely reporting and corrective actions. 4. Risk Management & Compliance:• Identify and assess security and safety risks across operations.• Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices.• Develop and test emergency response plans, including fire drills, evacuation procedures, and crisis simulations. 5. Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting:• Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior leadership on security performance, incident trends, and risk posture.• Support cross-functional projects requiring security and safety input.
Description: Reporting to the EHS Operations Manager, the EHS Operations Senior Specialist is responsible for driving EHS excellence across Tesla’s Automotive Sales, Service & Delivery (SSD) operations and contractor projects in the Zhejiang sub-region. This role ensures compliance with global and local EHS regulations, reduces operational risks, and supports the implementation of EHS systems, tools, and digital solutions in alignment with APAC EHSS strategy. Responsibilities: Serve as a key EHS advisor to sub-regional leadership, EHS reps, and frontline staff. Identify, escalate, and control EHS risks and compliance requirements across all phases of automotive operations and projects. Interface with regulatory agencies and manage audit/inspection documentation and follow-up actions. Support project teams with risk analysis, safe work procedures, and EHS templates. Train and develop EHS representatives to embed best practices, conduct inspections, and support emergency preparedness. Lead and support incident investigations (including L.I.F.E. and high-potential events) and implementation of corrective actions. Conduct and/or review risk assessments and job hazard analyses; recommend safety improvements. Develop and implement regional EHSS systems & tools strategy and objectives. Take charge of the application of Global EHS digital system-My EHS platform and the relevant digital modules, tools Identify local EHS digitalization needs, such as medical surveillance database, industrial waste agreement management system, and work with IT team to develop digital solutions Manage fast-paced cross-functional projects from end-to-end, covering a range of programs and subsystems Develop and manage project plans and ensure on-time delivery Lead APAC EHSS system development and deployment at the sub-regional level. Coordinate with international and local teams as needed. Manage maintenance and upgrade schedules for EHSS systems and tools. Provide data analysis insights to support risk reduction and continuous improvement. Facilitate safety committee meetings and employee engagement initiatives.
