Amazon's Cross Border business provides customers access to Amazon’s worldwide selection with a localized search and browse experience, convenient local payment options, end-to-end delivery solutions and access to native customer service on the local Amazon marketplace. Cross Border business simplifies the cross border shopping process by clearing customs on the customer’s behalf and by guaranteeing that the customer will not have to pay any additional duties and import fees beyond what is shown at checkout. RBS Cross Border team’s vision is to empower customers to “Stay Local, Shop Global” with an objective to improve cross border customer experience and maximize the revenue potential of cross border ASINs by fixing cross-listing, Buyability, discoverability and detail page conversion defects at scale. In 2025, RBS Cross Border team is establishing a new charter for cross border expansion in non-footprint countries (where Amazon has no direct retail presence), to enable customers to access our unique selections through their preferred shopping experiences. RBS Cross Border team is looking for a Program Manager, who will establish the management framework of Selections Health, establish new tasks to improve selection health and drive selection conversion on external store. • Responsibility for defining and driving functional/business goals. • Forming and managing cross-functional project teams to drive key programs for our customers. • Building a data-oriented culture, adoption of technology solutions and process improvement projects to achieve business goals. • Solving Business problems using technology and liaise with the technology and operational teams in identifying use cases/requirements, implementing sustainable solutions and scaling them effectively to support Defect elimination. • Managing stakeholder communication across multiple lines of business on various project milestones, process changes, escalations, etc. • Designing and developing relationships with senior stakeholders. • Ensuring high quality standards for interviewing and hiring employees at all levels of the organization. • Owning specific people programs on coaching and development and team engagement. • Provide ad-hoc support and analysis to senior leaders on strategy documents and research requests.
About the Role Business Growth · Contribute to goal setting for your team to align with organizational goals. · Contribute to business strategy development and identify the correct input metrics that drive growth and improve the end customer experience, in collaboration with cross-functional teams and other Amazon programs. · Possess the ability to manage and deliver against complex goals where strategy is not defined. Able to make trade-offs between short term selling partner needs and longer term strategic investment. · Implement and track metrics to record the success and quality of your team’s sellers. Use these metrics to guide your work and uncover hidden areas of opportunity. Relationship Management · Build and cultivate relationships with sellers in your team’s portfolio along with internal stakeholders; be a trusted advisor and a business advocate. · Monitor seller satisfaction survey results to investigate both positive and negative feedback trends. Establish improvement plans and manage expectations with Account Managers as appropriate. Process Excellence · Use customer feedback, market growth trends, and analyse key metrics to contribute to strategic development of features and programs that accelerate growth and improve selling partners` experience working with Amazon. Spot areas of unnecessary process or inefficiencies and work to simplify. · Identify, optimize, and scale improvements that can benefit a large set of customers, e.g. driving efficiencies through tools and processes, simplifying SOPs, etc., working across multiple organizations. Develop mechanisms to create accountability. Leadership: · Manage a team of Account Managers (8-10 direct reports) · Act as a thought leader in defining success criteria and understand business needs of sellers in an ever-changing business environment. Contribute to strategic plans and documents for the organization. · Partner with external teams including Category Management, Finance, Global Account Management, and Central Support teams to align programs and initiatives to drive growth. · Manage recruiting and hiring efforts across direct team and broader organization. Contributes to and leads strategic plans and documents for the organization. Leads recruiting and hiring efforts across direct team and broader organization. Manage stakeholders needs and monitor complexity through efficient resource allocation. Drive/monitor stakeholder’s satisfaction survey results to analyze both positive and negative feedback trends. Establish improvement plans and mange expectations with Vendor Consultants as appropriate.
