As a member of the Silicon Solution Group (SSG), you would play a significant role in chip/product bring-up and validation, collaborating with different teams to drive/develop automation solutions for silicon/platform test coverage and improving test efficiency for chip characterization. What you’ll be doing • Develop and maintain prototype FPGA/MCU Firmware of reference board to facilitate silicon feature qualification. • Drive requirements for emulation platform features that enable efficient validation workflows and design automated validation frameworks for validation tools/test cases running on FPGA emulation environments • Implement continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines for automated validation • Implement process improvements to accelerate automation and increase verification efficiency • Identify and communicate debug infrastructure needs (visibility, controllability, trace capabilities) • Analyze test automation failures, debug firmware and hardware issues using emulation tools and methodologies and coordinate with multi-functional teams to resolve issues

Our mission is to develop test automation equipment, architect software automation framework, and provide hardware/software/data infrastructure for Tesla electronics communities worldwide. We are seeking an engineer to design Manufacturing Test Equipment for low voltage electronic hardware. Automated functional testers will be deployed at Tesla factories and contract manufacturers worldwide. This team concentrates on mechanical, electrical and software design of reliable testers and tools for all production vehicles. Project timelines can be as short as a few weeks, producing equipment to test and assist in the assembly of the vehicle programs on the bleeding edge of Tesla’s innovation.
