工作职责
• Design and implement new features in the core of NVIDIA Switch firmware. • Collaborate with architecture and different software design teams as part of the software development lifecycle. • Work in pre and post-silicon development environments for next-generation NVIDIA networking products. • Gain a deep understanding of system debugging, networking technology, and stacks, as well as the HW/FW/SW relationship. • Innovate! Bring NVIDIA’s FW switching products to shine in customer’s view.
• Understand the Switch architecture and data flows • Work in a combined design and verification team specializing in Switch Fullchip works, like assembly, integrations plus a series of QAs to ensure quality • Refine the full Chip working flow to improve the entire team's efficiency • Work closely with multiple teams within organizations such as Architecture, Micro- Architecture, and FW to deliver the FC model for project milestones.
• Work in a combined design and verification team specializing in Switch Fullchip works • Understand the Switch architecture and build on testplan accordingly • Maintain and optimize Fullchip verification enviornment to meet feature requirements efficiently • Develop Fullchip test suites, maintain regressions, debug failures and sign-off coverages
• Contribute to design review and product features requirements under the whole Ethernet/ NIC/DPU/Switch portfolio. Design and build setup topologies with an emphasis on an emulation of customer large scale / complex environments. • Collaborating closely with multi-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and domain experts, to deliver optimized solutions that meet the demanding requirements of AI workloads. • Design, mentorship for testing automation team to implement tests. Generate comprehensive test reports during release execution procedure, assist with reproduction and debugs complex customer use cases, with determination of the issue root cause, be an engineering PIC for the full verification cycles of the customer use cases. • Complete end-to-end test scenarios in different scopes: Regression, Performance, Functional and Scale; Report the progress of testing and provide summary reports of testing activity. • Profiling, Benchmarking, and Analyzing Deep Learning models to identify areas for optimization and improvement in terms of performance, efficiency, and accuracy, with a strong emphasis on networking aspects. • Providing insights and recommendations based on the analysis of large-scale training results, specifically focusing on networking bottlenecks and optimizations, to improve model outcomes and achieve business objectives.
• Be an integral part of defining the solution of the next-gen silicon for AI • Work in a simulation/modeling team which verifies core units performance within the Switch silicon. • Micro-architecture of rtl/dynamic verification environments planning for units and modules. • Work closely with multiple teams within organizations such as Architecture, u-arch, and RTL design teams.
