THE ROLE: Product Engineering is a cost, quality, and time-to-market driven team responsible for enabling the availability of microprocessors to our customers. Pre-silicon responsibilities for the Product Engineer include understanding product features, developing characterization test plans, highlighting test coverage holes. This requires interaction with Design, Test and Platform Engineering and allows for the opportunity to provide enhancement feedback for future designs. Post-silicon responsibilities include microprocessor debug & analysis and the execution of characterization plans. This may include silicon performance issues, yield issues, manufacturing processes, and device marginalities. The Product Engineer will work closely with Design, Test and Platform Engineering to root cause issues that result from the debug, characterization and margin analysis. The Product Engineer will also provide datasheet specifications and drive improvements in yield.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER - PE THE ROLE: MTS Product (Yield) Development Engineer to play an import role of improving yield and optimizing cost of AMD products, have chance to involve in advanced processor development technology, data analysis and test method, and work with “world class” semiconductor engineering teams all over the world

Product and Testing Engineer is in charge of memory product developments, including product validation & production testing flow definition, test method definition and implementation, device characterization, qualification and customer return material analysis. 2. Job Responsibilities 1) Owner of validation & production testing, characterization, qualification and customer return material analysis. 2) Define characterization, qualification and mass production test methodologies. 3) Be responsible of memory product test program development and validation on varies test platforms. Ensure delivery of test program in time. 4) Be responsible for failure analysis and investigation of customer device/application issue during product development phase. 5) Identify device failure mechanism through electrical failure analysis, and support physical failure analysis during development and product development phase. 6) Support testing platform development with HW design engineers. 7) Support mass production yield improvement, TTR and DPPM reduction. 8) Support other teams, such as design team, PIE, RE required DOEs.

We are seeking a Metrology Expert Engineer to drive advancements in metrology and inspection for next-generation semiconductor processes. You will optimize metrology tools, develop innovative measurement methodologies, and ensure precision in process control to enhance yield and product quality. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to align metrology strategies with R&D and production goals. 1. Metrology Development & Optimization: Design and implement advanced metrology techniques (e.g., SEM, Spectroscopic ellipsometry, AFM) to characterize semiconductor processes. Improve measurement accuracy, throughput, and repeatability through tool calibration and algorithm development. 2. Data Analysis & Problem Solving: Conduct real-time data analysis to identify root causes of process variations and propose corrective actions.Utilize statistical analysis tools (JMP, Python, SQL) to interpret data and drive process improvements. 3. Cross-Functional Collaboration:Partner with process integration, equipment engineering, and R&D teams to align metrology strategies with technology roadmaps. Provide technical guidance for new process development and technology transfer to manufacturing. 4. Technology Innovation - Lead research on emerging metrology technologies (e.g., AI-driven spectra analysis). - Publish findings in technical forums and contribute to intellectual property development.
