15+ years in hands-on technical customer-facing roles such as Applications Engineering, customer engineering or Customer Solutions Architecting. 10+ years of experience working in global customer facing engineering leadership role. Demonstrated leadership experience managing engineering teams supporting customers or development of hardware systems and/or software. Good system technical expertise in AMD x86 CPU architecture, BIOS/firmware, Linux and performance optimization strategies Proven experience supporting large-scale deployments in MDC (Mega Datacenter) and big customer setting. Familiarity with customer engagement workflows including onboarding, triage, and escalation. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across engineering, product, and executive teams. Experience in building, developing and growing highly performant engineering teams. Experience in networking, storage, automotive, robotics and edge-AI markets and technologies will be a big plus. Well versed in handling escalation, crises and how to get them to a win-win resolution. A self-driven, extreme ownership and can-do attitude person with high adaptability and hunger for taking on unprecedented challenges and delivering needle moving impact. THE ROLE: Join the AMD AECG (Adaptive and Embedded Computing Group) as the leader of our China Customer Engineering team to further strengthen and grow the team. In this role, you will lead the customer program engagements and deep customer co-engineering supporting Embedded x86 customers in the Greater China market. In this customer-facing role, you will collaborate with local FAE and sales managers, global Customer Applications Engineering teams and R&D Engineering teams, and many other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful, on-time and high-quality deployment of AMD Embedded x86 processors into customer designs from evaluation through development and production. You will also build strong and deep relationships with engineering leaders of the customers and be the influential voice of customer internally. Key market segments are networking, storage, automotive and edge-AI. THE PERSON: Brief description of what type of person would be successful in the role and key traits needed KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Team Leadership: Lead a team of local Customer Application Engineers and other technical experts who may be remote to engage with China customers to adopt and develop designs with AMD Embedded x86 processors. Build and grow the Greater China Customer Engineering team through hiring and team development. Evaluations and Design-Wins: Engage yourself and team deeply with customers to understand the key care-abouts, enable hands-on evaluations and build compelling technical and architectural engagement to win China customer designs working closely with global teams Issue Resolution / Customizations: Oversee the triage, debugging, and resolution of customer issues, ensuring timely coordination with internal engineering and product teams, and drive issue closure. Build strongly technical team to create and deliver custom features in self-contained fashion. Escalation and Crises Management: Serve as the primary escalation point for complex customer engineering challenges, driving resolution and customer satisfaction. Technical Guidance: Provide training and support to customers and ODMs to adopt AMD Embedded x86 processors, development tools and design guides. Customer Communication: Drive the team to create and review technical information disclosure, training materials, and other customer-facing documentation. Resource & Onboarding Management: Direct hardware resources allocation, continue to manage, develop and grow a high-performing Customer Engineering team in China. Build strong competent team with the key expertise needed for emerging markets. The Sr. Director Enterprise Sales position will focus on driving revenue, strategic engagement, and corporate alignment for all aspects of select OEM accounts. Business Development Director/Sr. Director (China & Japan) Location: Beijing/Tianjin/Shanghai/Guangzhou/Japan The Role We are seeking an experienced BD Director to drive partnerships with Japanese OEMs across both China and Japan markets. You will be responsible for developing strategic relationships and closing deals with key Japanese automakers. Key Responsibilities -Lead business development with Japanese OEMs in China and Japan -Identify, engage, and secure partnerships with target automakers -Structure and negotiate long-term commercial agreements -Serve as the primary point of contact for Japanese OEM partners -Collaborate with project management team, solutions team, and R&D teams to provide tailored products for clients -Monitor market trends and competitor activities in the region
Act as a domain expert in both HR SaaS (Workday) and HR business process. Lead the implementation, Configuration, and on-going management of Workday HCM, Recruiting, Absence Management, Talent, Performance, Prism, and Integrations. Collaborate with HR, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, OPD, IT and other Key stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions. Provide Technical leadership and expertise in the multiple Workday modules, ensuring the best practices are followed and that the system supports the organization’s needs. Conduct training sessions for HR teams, CoE, and Hiring managers on Workday HCM, Recruiting, Absence, Performance Module. Develop user guides and maintain documentation for configurations, integrations, and processes. Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with global/local HR policies. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Workday modules in a timely and efficient manner. Prepare detailed estimates and test plans based on Functional requirements Analyze, design, document, and test software modifications to existing processes/configurations, reports, forms, extensions, and interfaces in the production environment Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures related to Workday, support integration with other systems and processes as they related to Workday. Stay updated with the latest Workday features and functionalities, particularly those related to Recruiting, Core HCM, Absence, Performance management and implement improvements as necessary. Facilitate review sessions with functional owners, subject matter experts and end-user representatives Provide Solutions options for the business to consider, along with pros and cons for each option and recommendation Drive the design, configuration and deployment of new projects & system enhancements Participate in the change management and go live support processes.
