The Role Tesla is currently seeking an application support engineer to join the IT application team in Shanghai, China. The role is responsible for the Tesla Internal software system including HROS,EHS,Billing and AI platform. All of system are Tesla's internally-developed. Responsibilities · Responsible for assigning all HelpDesk and customer inquiries, including technical assistance to best use of application product. · Provides outstanding customer service to Tesla Motors application users. · Work collaboratively with the local and global factory software team to maintain data/system integrity. · Offers a single point of contact and ensures that all application support requests are recorded in a timely, courteous, and accurate manner. · Support and monitor production system. · Escalates issues within the IT department to ensure issues that cannot be addressed at first level are responded to timely, working to maximum uptime for customers. · Perform testing of new development. · Support the product team for application design and improvement · Perform failure analysis, implement immediate containment solutions, and suggest long term solutions. · Develop support tool for operation automation · Follow-up on tickets resolved by internal IT teams to ensure communication to the customer with high degree of satisfaction based on results and level of service. · Design and implement build, deployment, and configuration management.
The Role Tesla is currently seeking an application support engineer to join the Factory Software team in Shanghai, China. The role is responsible for the factory software system including configuration, maintenance, and improvement of our warehouse management system (WMS) and (or) manufacture execution system (MES) and (or) other production and supply chain related systems. These duties will be performed in compliance with policy guidelines and within timeframes as defined by the project requirements. Responsibilities • Design and implement build, deployment, and configuration management. • Support and monitor open-source and proprietary systems in production. • Perform testing of new development. • Perform failure analysis, implement immediate containment solutions, and suggest long term solutions. • Develop reports and dashboards using Python and SQL. • Provide technical support to end users, including business analysts, line associates, etc. • Work collaboratively with the headquarters factory software team to maintain data/system integrity.

Application Competence Engineer: Support critical apps escalations from local and drive VHV 3rd line to deliver support on time. Coordinate and introduce ASML new products to the customer and show on-product benefits. Business development support to identify improvement potentials of ASML products to benefit our customer. Engage with ASML D&E and customer R&D team to define the solution roadmap to drive semiconductor technology. Support as workstream owner in NTP project to define project plan with customer and execute. Document the structural issues or BKM and rollout to all sites. Be expert in 1 or more competence and help local team grow. Be able to on-call / shift work in customer environment.
