The Role
The Factory Firmware Team in the Vehicle Firmware organization owns how firmware changes are evaluated, developed, validated and launched as Tesla introduces new hardware or brings new market variants into vehicle production. As a Firmware Integration Engineer intern, you will support end-to-end firmware programs for new hardware introductions and new product variant launches. You will use engineering judgment to assess firmware impact, coordinate development and validation, define firmware branch strategy, and support factory introduction, working closely with other vehicle firmware teams as well as electrical and mechanical design, program, and manufacturing teams.
