任职要求


• Bachelor’s in Mechanical engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
• You should have in-depth technical knowledge of all Mechanical Engineering fundamentals related to Friction, Forces, Statics and Dynamics. Understand Strength of Materials well.
• Ability to do Freebody diagrams and doing first principles-based hand calculations is a must.
• Knowledge of CATIA, Solid works or other CAD tools is preferred.
• Exposure and experience with Matlab, Analysis tools like Ansys and 3d printing materials and technology is a plus.
• You need to be a hands-on person; you are expected to be participating in root cause analysis on the manufacturing line and work on Interior Engineering labs and help support teardown study activities of various Interior Component Sub-assemblies.
• Excellent written communication skills and Oral Fluency in English.

工作职责


THE ROLE
Interior Engineering Team at Tesla is responsible to design and engineer all interior components inside the Interior Cabin. We are subdivided into 11 internal groups all supporting each other concurrently to execute Tesla Interior Product development programs.

Our core responsibility lies in taking a product from Cradle to grave – all the way. This involves Concept creation, Concept Engineering, Production Engineering, Tooling & Manufacturing, Validation and Testing, Launch and Ramp and eventually support with Field reliability. We support the full lifecycle of the Products. Though we are split into different sub-groups to facilitate project execution and future innovations, the team is completely made up of Mechanical and Electromagnetical Engineers only.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design and engineer sub-components for all interior commodities.
• Achieve customer-driven interior system targets for luxury, function, cost and weight.
• Execute local changes, initiated by the Global Interiors team, of parts and systems according to Tesla Change Management process.
• Implement processes and quality to achieve world class execution of automotive interior craftsmanship and fit & finish.
• Support the global team in design optimization with the appropriate analytical and physical assessments.
• You will be required to prototype parts using 3d printing, put assemblies together in our prototype lab and work on modifying production parts with product changes if needed for testing and evaluation purposes.
• You will collaborate with key suppliers and to support overall vehicle launch milestones and prototype/production build events.
• Your will collaborate with cross functional teams within the Tesla Vehicle Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and Procurement groups to ensure interior system manufacturing and assembly feasibility and serviceability, and ensure competitive supplier manufacturing, quality and pricing.
• You will be responsible for utilizing product engineering processes such as DFMEA and technical documentation - DVP&R and ensure Tesla and supplier manufacturing quality control plans are executed accordingly.
• Follow up with suppliers regarding system/part level validation, quality control plans and the engineering elements of PPAP.
• Support the homologation team for relevant component approval (e.g. CCC, GB testing) Long Story short – You will work as a Mechanical Design Engineer under a Mentor.
