As a Senior Procurement Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring early involvement of Procurement and suppliers across the entire product journey – from PLM and development to manufacturing. You'll monitor current products to minimize costs, enhance resilience, and drive innovation and sustainability, all while expertly managing interfaces with product development functions. Your leadership will guide cross-functional teams in sourcing the right materials and defining/implementing SNC's material sourcing strategy to meet our growing demands. What will be my responsibilities? In this role, you will: • Drive Early Procurement Involvement: Actively engage with portfolio management before R&D activities commence. Take an active role in product development and manufacturing to ensure all supplier interactions enhance resilience, innovation, and sustainability, reduce complexity, and achieve ambitious product cost targets. • Foster Strategic Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with the R&D community, product management, and PLM teams. Internally, you'll drive collaboration across procurement functions, including Commodity Managers, Local Buyers, and CVEs (Cost Value Engineers). • Align and Deploy Strategy: Ensure seamless alignment between product and procurement strategies, with your procurement strategy actively supporting the PLM team's ambitions, including sustainability and innovation goals. You'll introduce technology roadmaps and facilitate cross-functional discussions, ensuring sourcing decisions align with procurement and safeguard security strategies. • Ensure Material Resilience in Design: Drive material localization and the development/introduction of second sources to optimize our supplier base. Support R&D in component selection during the design phase and secure material availability for new components in new projects before mass production. • Lead Early Supplier Involvement: Organize and lead innovation workshops and concept competitions/projects to achieve the best cost-benefit position and harness external expertise. • Advance Sustainability Goals: Consult with and inspire development teams to design and implement sustainable solutions in product design and procurement. Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to co-develop products that meet stringent sustainability criteria and standards (e.g., RED KPIs and ECO criteria). Implement Carbon Shadow Pricing to integrate the environmental impact of products and materials into procurement decisions.
• Develop and Manage Supplier Quality Systems: Establish and maintain comprehensive quality control plans, inspection methodologies, documentation (QMS, IQC/IPQC/OQC), and measurement system validations (MSA, GR&R, FAI/CpK) from development through mass production. • Lead Proactive Risk Mitigation: Conduct supplier process and product audits to identify potential risks. Implement preventive measures, training programs, and align specifications (MSOP, limit samples for cosmetic and color standards) to prevent defects. • Drive Root Cause Analysis and Correction: Lead meticulous problem-solving for quality issues using 8D, 5Whys, and DOE to find root causes and implement effective, validated corrective and preventive actions. • Oversee Product Reliability and Validation: Handle Ongoing Reliability Testing (ORT), supervise failure analysis, and validate key assembly processes to ensure long-term product performance and quality. • Prevent Defect Leakage: Implement and lead Out-of-Box Audit (OBA) processes at suppliers to catch cosmetic and functional issues before products are shipped to the factory (FATP). • Facilitate Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary quality liaison between suppliers and internal teams (e.g., FATP team, engineering team) to drive improvements and ensure a smooth new product introduction (NPI) and mass production (MP) process. • Monitor and Communicate Quality Performance: Track key quality metrics, run major issue lists (MIL), and provide regular yield summary updates to stakeholders on supplier performance and improvement initiatives. • Develop and implement supplier training programs: Create operator training plans and production line qualification plans.

The Role: As a Senior Tooling Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the design, fabrication, and validation of tooling for product development. You will work with Product Design, Mechanical Process Engineers, and Supply Chain Management to identify supply base vendors and fabrication technologies. You will be responsible for creating tooling designs to deliver consumer products with demanding fit and finish requirements. You will develop, investigate, and implement industry best practices in tool design and construction. You will be required to validate a wide range of materials and processes including plastic molding, metal part fabrication, and decorative processes. In this role, you will: - Collaborate with Product Design, Industrial Design, and Mechanical Process Engineering teams to support product development - Collaborate with Lab126 suppliers to design and fabricate world-class tooling - Manage tool design, fabrication, and validation at the supply base - Drive analytical modeling and analysis of tooling concepts and design through "Mold Flow" and similar software - Have excellent oral and written communication skills including effective presentation of complex data - Support the design, manufacture, and coordinate the procurement of dimensional and functional jigs / fixtures for tooling validation - Develop the Lab126 supply base to utilize new materials and fabrication techniques for injection molding - Be required to mentor and develop junior engineers as necessary - Identify technical risks and define mitigation plan - Travel domestically and internationally to supplier sites as projects require
1. Taking care of Indirect Procurement of Xiaomi Indonesia, includes but not limited to Marketing, Retail and Administration Category, continuously optimizing procurement procedure and policy; 2. Setting up qualified supplier pool for each category, making sure all demands are able to be executed on time & on target, continuously optimizing efficiency, cost and quality, ensuring the success of the business; 3. Making procurement strategy of each category for Indonesia Market, continuously raise the percentage of frame contract coverage, running the overall procedure From Demand To Pay, avoiding the compliance risk; 4. Taking care of frame contract bidding, promoting the practice of Frame Contract + PO, setting up long term relationship with excellence supplier, enhancing the procurement efficiency and service level; 5. Take responsibility as an international business partner, deep-diving into stakeholder’s business and making good demand management, resource plan, continuously raising stakeholder’s satisfaction rate toward procurement.
