As a Senior Procurement Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring early involvement of Procurement and suppliers across the entire product journey – from PLM and development to manufacturing. You'll monitor current products to minimize costs, enhance resilience, and drive innovation and sustainability, all while expertly managing interfaces with product development functions. Your leadership will guide cross-functional teams in sourcing the right materials and defining/implementing SNC's material sourcing strategy to meet our growing demands. What will be my responsibilities? In this role, you will: • Drive Early Procurement Involvement: Actively engage with portfolio management before R&D activities commence. Take an active role in product development and manufacturing to ensure all supplier interactions enhance resilience, innovation, and sustainability, reduce complexity, and achieve ambitious product cost targets. • Foster Strategic Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with the R&D community, product management, and PLM teams. Internally, you'll drive collaboration across procurement functions, including Commodity Managers, Local Buyers, and CVEs (Cost Value Engineers). • Align and Deploy Strategy: Ensure seamless alignment between product and procurement strategies, with your procurement strategy actively supporting the PLM team's ambitions, including sustainability and innovation goals. You'll introduce technology roadmaps and facilitate cross-functional discussions, ensuring sourcing decisions align with procurement and safeguard security strategies. • Ensure Material Resilience in Design: Drive material localization and the development/introduction of second sources to optimize our supplier base. Support R&D in component selection during the design phase and secure material availability for new components in new projects before mass production. • Lead Early Supplier Involvement: Organize and lead innovation workshops and concept competitions/projects to achieve the best cost-benefit position and harness external expertise. • Advance Sustainability Goals: Consult with and inspire development teams to design and implement sustainable solutions in product design and procurement. Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to co-develop products that meet stringent sustainability criteria and standards (e.g., RED KPIs and ECO criteria). Implement Carbon Shadow Pricing to integrate the environmental impact of products and materials into procurement decisions.

Job Description: 1. Manage Logistics procurement categories such as hub/warehouse lease, logistics services, engineering & constructions 2. Liaise with related stakeholders to address business requirements and support with aligned timeline 3. Report and update logistics procurement tasks to Country Head, Senior Management Team, and other related stakeholders whereas required 4. Negotiate contracts commercial terms and improve price competitiveness with suppliers and review opportunities to promote business savings 5. Work closely within procurement team and review opportunities for continuous improvement and business improvements 6. Exercise professional, ethical, and consistent approach in managing supplier relationships 7. Output clear and comprehensive procurement reports 8. Monitor and advise on any issues which present risk or opportunity to the Management 9. Perform periodical supplier evaluation and contribute to performance reviews as part of vendor management mechanism 10. Adhere to HSE policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being 11. Adhere to company guidelines, compliance, purchasing policies and procedures 12. Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships and keep up good communications

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) - Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting cycle, working closely with functional leads to ensure accuracy and realism. - Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models to assess business scenarios, revenue streams, cost structures, and profitability. - Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends, risks, and opportunities in a timely manner. - Prepare regular management reports and dashboards, providing commentary and recommendations to drive performance. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to align financial objectives with broader business strategies. Educate non-finance colleagues on financial concepts, empowering them to own their budgets and deliver on commitments. Governance & Compliance Ensure the business operates within the organization’s financial policies, risk management frameworks, and regulatory requirements. Support the implementation of robust internal controls, safeguarding company assets and data integrity. Proactively identify, recommend, and lead projects to enhance financial processes, drive automation, and improve the quality of management information.
