This role focuses on brand narrative development, messaging frameworks, and cross-functional alignment. The ideal candidate is a strong brand storyteller and operator who can translate company strategy into clear, consistent messaging and enable teams to communicate effectively at scale. Key Responsibilities: 1. Brand Narrative & Messaging - Own and evolve core brand narratives, messaging frameworks, and positioning documents - Develop and maintain brand voice guidelines and communications playbooks - Ensure consistency of messaging across campaigns, launches, and regions 2. Communications Enablement - Enable internal teams (Marketing, Product, Sales, HR) with messaging toolkits, FAQs, and talking points - Partner with leadership to shape messaging for company initiatives, announcements, and milestones - Review and guide communications outputs to ensure alignment with brand standards 3. Cross-Functional & Regional Alignment - Partner closely with global brand and marketing teams in the U.S., Europe, and China to align messaging execution - Coordinate communications planning and timelines across teams - Act as a point of alignment for brand communications across functions 4. Basic Job Description 1. Strategic PR drives, work with the business to build and tell stories that appeal to Lazada diverse audiences – consumers, sellers, brands, potential partners and other stakeholders 2. Provide PR consult and recommendations to stakeholders in the business 3. Collaborate with other functions to align and complement communications efforts (Marketing, social, category/commercial and campaign, business intelligence, customer care, etc.) 4. Develop strategic PR plans, including 360º content ideas for storytelling, and drive execution 5. Develop templates, messaging, and press materials 6. Pitch stories to national and local media 7. Create and execute non-campaign national and local PR initiatives, from organic approach, content partnership, to other strategic collaboration 8. Track and report results in timely manner 9. Support on issues management and executive thought leadership
1. Support communications on the corporate and product/business level to better tell the company's story to a global audience including crafting key messages and narratives; develop written materials such as pitches, press releases, presentations, social media posts, among others; 2. Build and expand relations with key stakeholers including reporters/editors from key media outlets as well as KOLs, to enhance their understanding of the company and its businesses; support inquiry and issue handling; 3. Interact with cross-functional teams including different business units and provide informed advice; 4. Project manage key corporate communications initiatives and support other ad-hoc projects.
