PURPOSE OF THE JOB • To perform Electronic design function in product design • To implement technical solution for product design • To ensure quality and robustness design according to project needs • To check and test product to guaranty technical performances during product lifetime. • To coordinate and collaborate with project team to achieve project objective: cost, lead-time, quality. 1) Strong interpersonal skills is a must. The position requires closely working with eCADs, Mechanical CADs, software, certification, Industrialization, validation, internal Schneider Plant as well as outside vendors (EMS plant etc.). 2) Digital/Analogue embedded system design capability. Mandatory: - Familiar with Mentor or Cadence tools. - Experience with high speed embedded hardware system design. - Experience with analogue signal chain design, data acquisition design. - Familiar with solving EMC/EMI related issue. - Experience with Blank PCB/PCBA manufacture. - Strong lab skills with hands on soldering components, operating oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal generators etc. Optional: - Experience with power supply design is a plus. - Be a main designer in one or more project is a plus. - Familiar with uboot/Linux Porting based on POWER PC or SOC is a plus. - Deep knowledge of complex processor embedded system design is a plus. - Familiar with Design of Current/Votage Transformer is a plus 3) FPGA design capability Mandatory: - RTL(Register Transfer Level) design, familiar with ISE, Quartus, Modelsim tools; - Test bench development and design simulation; Optional: - Experience with System on chip (SOC) and NIOS II design is a plus. 4) Must be a self-motivated team player with good oral and written English communication skills, and strong sense of ownership. 5) BS, MS(Preferred) in Electrical Engineering, at least 3 years for dedicated hardware development, board bring-up experience.
- Follow Schneider Electric project process, Lead R&D team to develop new electronic products for industry application including the specification, product concept design, circuit design and simulation, prototype assembly and product verification so as to meet the offer requirement. - Cooperate with correlated team member and related teams such as PCB layout engineers, Mechanical engineers, Firmware/Software engineers, and EMC test engineers to fulfill the design and resolve technical issues. - Follow Schneider Electric design process and deliver the design documents with high quality on time - Focus on the Power Quality acting as technical leader for Reactive Power compensation, Active Power Filter, Thyristor switch&Controller, Power Factor Correction, SVG, DVR and Detuned Reactor. - Technical leader to drive the power quality new offer launch and maintain existing offer. - Co-operate with colleagues to achieve product development goal. - Support industrialization team to ensure the delivery of the mass production - Complete other jobs assigned by line manager or leaders

1. Be responsible of Flash Memory test program development and validation on varies test platforms. Ensure delivery of test program in time. 2. Be responsible for test failure analysis and investigation of customer device/application issue during both product development and mass manufacturing period. 3. Define test flow, test methodology and test specifications for package level test to meet product qualification requirement, and consistently drive test time reduction and yield improvement during mass production. 4. Be responsible for data analysis and failure analysis during both product development and mass manufacturing period, and identify the device failure mechanism for continuous design and (fab & assembly) process improvement. 5. Identify device internal failure mechanism through electrical failure analysis. 6. Feedback product issues to designers and process engineers. 7. Support validation hardware development with HW engineers and test platform conversion during mass production. 8. Work with cross functional teams to improve sort and/or class yield. 9. Support test HW validation and develop test program on varieties of test platforms.
The Role Tesla’s Drive Systems Engineering team is seeking an enthusiastic, fast-learning engineer who will be responsible for electrical and physical FA of power devices from traction inverters. They will own engineering tasks to keep our production line running– everything from bringing up new vendors to debugging field failures. They will work alongside a team of experienced engineers while utilizing sophisticated failure analysis tools to identify root causes from design,production, test, and field environments. Responsibilities · Hands-on failure analysis of high voltage power devices. · Optical microscopy and CSAM. · Electrical and physical FA including curve tracing and cross-sectioning. · Maintenance of lab tools and consumables. · Design and build custom PCBA, electrical tools, and scripts for testing power semiconductors and power converters. · Characterize power semiconductors and power converters performance. · Collaborate with mechanical, semiconductors and firmware engineering teams to successfully validate and optimize traction inverters.
