- Follow Schneider Electric project process, Lead R&D team to develop new electronic products for industry application including the specification, product concept design, circuit design and simulation, prototype assembly and product verification so as to meet the offer requirement. - Cooperate with correlated team member and related teams such as PCB layout engineers, Mechanical engineers, Firmware/Software engineers, and EMC test engineers to fulfill the design and resolve technical issues. - Follow Schneider Electric design process and deliver the design documents with high quality on time - Focus on the Power Quality acting as technical leader for Reactive Power compensation, Active Power Filter, Thyristor switch&Controller, Power Factor Correction, SVG, DVR and Detuned Reactor. - Technical leader to drive the power quality new offer launch and maintain existing offer. - Co-operate with colleagues to achieve product development goal. - Support industrialization team to ensure the delivery of the mass production - Complete other jobs assigned by line manager or leaders
Role: Tesla Energy is looking for a motivated Firmware Integration Engineer to bring the next generation of Residential and Industrial charging products to the market. As a member of the Firmware Integration team, you will be responsible for delivering high quality firmware, software, and hardware to the manufacturing line. You will architect the software solutions for manufacturing quality Energy products (e.g. Powerwall, Megapack) in our factories. Rethink manufacturing processes and test equipment dependency with our in-house product and design teams. Engineer a software stack capable of ultra-high volume production capacity across our entire supply chain. Ensure flexibility within our product design and manufacturing test functionality to achieve critical business objectives. You will have the opportunity to solve challenging problems on the production line and in the field. Collaborate closely with hardware, manufacturing, and service engineering to design firmware and automation solutions for a seamless commissioning experience. Responsibilities: · Develop, enhance and debug new and existing software in C, Python, or Golang. · Perform hardware and firmware integration of current and next generation Tesla charging systems. · Author product test specification of home and commercial charging products for optimal coverage at each step in the assembly process. · Design robust and exhaustive test procedures for high voltage power electronics, battery modules, thermal systems, and solar product assemblies. · Contribute to software architecture design, development of software applications, and integration into manufacturing processes and production lines. · Track and communicate project status and risks to the wider organization. Interact with engineers from multiple teams. · Hands-on with hardware bring up, debug issues and devise solution paths. · Provide technical and leadership excellence for the team. Responsibilities: Team Leadership and Management Lead and mentor a team of firmware engineers working on power electronic converters, protection applications. Define roles and responsibilities, set performance objectives, and conduct regular performance evaluations. Technical Strategy and Planning Develop and execute the firmware technology roadmap aligned with company goals and market trends. Technical Expertise and Guidance Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team on complex firmware challenges in power electronics. The Role Tesla’s Drive Systems Engineering team is seeking an enthusiastic, fast-learning engineer who will be responsible for electrical and physical FA of power devices from traction inverters. They will own engineering tasks to keep our production line running– everything from bringing up new vendors to debugging field failures. They will work alongside a team of experienced engineers while utilizing sophisticated failure analysis tools to identify root causes from design,production, test, and field environments.
