工作职责


【The Role】
This role serves as the strategic research backbone for xiaohongshu (rednote). You will help leadership and strategy teams form conviction on where the company should draw its strategic lines — what to lean into, what to avoid, and what to prepare for before decisions become irreversible. Your work goes beyond tracking trends or producing point-in-time analysis. You will lead deep, cumulative research efforts that shape the company’s long-term strategic posture — from defining core strategic bets, to setting guardrails for product and ecosystem evolution, to informing how the organization allocates attention and resources over multi-year horizons.

【Mandate】
Build a durable research foundation that helps the company anticipate structural shifts, develop shared strategic conviction, and establish clear strategic directions and boundaries — especially in moments where the right answer is unclear, contested, or non-obvious.
This includes:
- Identifying early signals and second-order implications of major industry shifts
- Translating deep research into clear strategic narratives that leadership can align around
- Providing the analytical backbone for major directional decisions (e.g. platform positioning, content strategy, e-commerce evolution, creator economics, etc.)
