WeRide was named in Fortune Magazine’s 2024 “The Future 50” list. About the Role We are seeking a high-performing and passionate Analyst/Associate to join our Strategy & Corporate Development team. In this role, you will work closely with senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives and support the company’s long-term growth through business and corporate development activities. This includes, but is not limited to, conducting market and competitive research, identifying and evaluating new business opportunities, building financial models and business cases, supporting partnerships and M&A execution, and preparing materials for senior leadership, investors, and the Board. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical and communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for autonomous vehicles and AI. Key Responsibilities · Work with WeRide leadership to define and advance critical initiatives · Assist in all aspects of the business and corporate development process including sourcing and qualification of opportunities, market research, competitive analysis, due diligence, and deal execution · Collaborate cross-functionally to align business and corporate development activities with organizational priorities Qualifications · 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, management consulting or a similar field; Focus on technology or AI-related industries is a plus · Excellent financial modeling and analytical capabilities · Excellent business sense and ability to understand and resolve complex business issues · Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with diverse internal and external stakeholders · Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and can manage multiple complex projects simultaneously · Passion for autonomous vehicles and AI · Bilingual fluency in English and Mandarin

Application Strategy and Leadership: •Develop and implement the IT application strategy in alignment with the organization's business goals. •Lead and manage the applications team responsible for the development, integration, and maintenance of business-critical applications. •Serve as a subject matter expert for application solutions, providing guidance on the best technologies and methodologies to solve business challenges. Application Portfolio Management: •Oversee the full lifecycle of applications from planning and selection to implementation and ongoing optimization. •Manage a portfolio of business applications, ensuring they meet performance, security, and usability standards. •Evaluate and recommend third-party software solutions to improve business processes. Project Management & Implementation: •Direct the planning, execution, and management of application-related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives. •Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and external vendors, to deliver application projects. Team Leadership & Development: •Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of application professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration. •Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and support career development opportunities. Governance & Compliance: •Ensure all applications comply with internal security policies, external regulations, and industry standards. •Implement and enforce IT governance frameworks for application lifecycle management. •Manage the risk associated with application systems, ensuring proper disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place. Our Risk team plays a critical role in ensuring the compliance and integrity of Ant Group's financial services operations in the UK and EMEA region. We specialize in conducting thorough high risk customer KYC onboarding, Sanctions, PEP (Politically Exposed Persons), and Adverse Media reviews, as well as handling Transaction Monitoring, fraud investigations and Suspicious Activity Information (SAI) filing. As a Financial Crime Analyst, you will be an integral part of our team dedicated to upholding the highest standards of regulatory compliance. What you’ll do: Conduct Comprehensive AML Screening Reviews: • Perform screening reviews, including Sanctions, PEP, and Adverse Media concerns. Sanctions Screening: • Conduct real-time and periodic reviews of customer, vendor, and transactional data to identify any individuals, entities, or countries subject to sanctions. • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of global sanctions lists and regulatory requirements. • Escalate and report potential sanctions violations to the appropriate authorities and internal stakeholders. PEP Screening: • Perform due diligence checks to determine if customers or business partners qualify as Politically Exposed Persons (PEP). • Maintain an up-to-date database of PEP profiles and their associated risk levels. • Collaborate with other departments to assess the potential risks and make recommendations for risk mitigation. Adverse Media Screening: • Monitor news sources, databases, and other relevant information channels to identify any adverse media concerning customers or entities. • Evaluate the relevance and impact of adverse media reports on compliance risk. • Document findings and communicate potential concerns to compliance management. Transaction Monitoring: • Monitor and analyse customer transactions to detect and investigate unusual or suspicious activities in accordance with AML regulations. SAI Filing: • Perform in-depth analysis of customer profiles, transactions, and associated data to identify potential AML risks. • Prepare and submit Suspicious Activity Information (SAI) reports to regulatory authorities when necessary, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Fraud Detection and Prevention: • Implement and manage fraud detection strategies to identify and mitigate fraudulent activities. • Analyse transaction patterns to detect potential fraud and take corrective actions. • Collaborate with fraud investigation teams to support ongoing investigations and provide necessary AML insights. Customer Onboarding: • Oversee the onboarding process to ensure all new customers comply with AML and KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements. • Conduct thorough Enhanced Due Diligence during customer onboarding to assess potential risks. • Work with the Onboarding team to streamline processes and ensure efficient and compliant customer onboarding experiences. • Communicate with clients via our phone system, other communication systems as part of the clients onboarding.
