Responsibilities • Lead the end-to-end project management of art outsource, from kickoff to final delivery in collaboration with the Art Director. • Work with the Art Director to strategize around the outsourcing goal and build an actionable plan accordingly. • Maintain and expand the vendor pool, support new vendor trials with clear kick-offs, documentation, and expectations. • Develop detailed project delivery plans and track project progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to keep projects on track. • Manage and coordinate the daily communication and facilitate effective communication between vendors and Art Director. • Manage the feedback and approval process, ensuring clarity and constructive direction. • Maintain project documentation and provide regular status reports to stakeholders. • Ensure vendors are set up with proper certification, tools, and invoicing systems, support contracts, invoices, and timecards for vendors. • Implement and optimize project management tools (e.g., Trello, Airtable) and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) for the art team.

Role The Sensing Hardware Team is responsible for architecting, designing, validating and integrating state-of-the-art sensing technologies for all Tesla vehicles. The sensors we develop support ADAS (Autopilot), safety, HVAC, chassis and other subsystems. As a Sensor Hardware Design Engineer, you will be responsible for overall performance of the sensing system and its features at any point in the product life cycle, serve as the owner of a given sensing system to address any issues discovered from development through deployment, understand and debug hardware and software interactions from prototyping through product launch, and manage priorities and support a host of projects simultaneously. Summary of the position This position in the Camera Engineering Team will focus on driving the design and engineering of various optical systems such as camera lenses, automotive glass parts through the use of state-of-the-art optical simulation tools and innovative technologies. This role will participant all aspect of design work from early architecture to final product assessment. As optics is linked to a variety of physical phenomena such as mechanics, fluid dynamics or thermals, the engineer will need to understand various aspects of the product design and think at the system level.
