Sortation Manager Job Summary: • The Sortation Manager will be responsible to manage the overall day-to-day Sortation operations and is responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control and safety measures as established and set for the Sortation Department. Ensure safe and efficient operations. • Ensure an End-to-End Sortation Processes are enforced, comply and report any deviations to Senior Sortation Manager. Reports directly to Senior Sortation Manager. Responsibilities: • Ensure continuous improvement in the operations through enforcing regional SOP & SOW & adopting best practices • Safeguards Sortation Centre and contents by establishing and monitoring all security procedures and protocols • Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results and ensure KPIs are achieved collective team efforts • Coaching and developing staff to achieve higher levels of service, economies of scale and operational effectiveness • Collaborate with Route, Fleet, HUB and Support team to ensure best in class services
- Manage cross-border and local logistics operations for AE across assigned countries, ensuring compliance and service quality. - Oversee relationships with 3PLs/freight partners, negotiate contracts, and monitor KPIs (cost, on-time delivery, compliance). - Develop annual business plans, budgets, and growth strategies aligned with regional goals. - Optimize logistics workflows (e.g., route planning, capacity management) to reduce costs and improve efficiency. - Lead a small team of logistics professionals, providing guidance and performance feedback. - Collaborate with regional teams to resolve operational issues and enhance customer satisfaction
