2. Above 10 years' experience in vehicle homologation or automotive compliance area, have EU-WVTA /UNECE proejcts related experience is a must, have other complience project experince suah as CE/REACH / GDPR is a plus.
3. Have connections with EU automotive authorities, aassociations and technical services.
Knowledge:
1. Proficiency in EU homologation and vehicle complicane knowlegge, have a deep undersatnding of EU legislation & regualtion system, UNECE regulation system and other automotive reuglaitons and policies.
2. Good professional automotive knowledge, especially in the ZEV and ADAS fields.

Study the latest EU knock-down factory investment policiesof designated global markets. 2. communicate and cooperate with EU governments to lead the knock-down factory establishment processs. Forcast the trends of EU vehicle related regulations and policies, support R&D department establish product compliant solution of next generation products. 3. Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and proactive LineHaul & DSP Sourcing & Procurement Specialist to oversee logistics procurement activities in Liège, Belgium. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and managing transportation services, including LineHaul and DSP (Delivery Service Partner), to ensure efficient and cost-effective logistics operations. We seek to hire a legal counsel/senior legal counsel of commercial legal who will be a key member of the growing legal team supporting AliExpress consumer facing e-commerce platform and services in the European Union, the UK and other markets, with a expected focus on certain markets (eg Eastern Europe) as well as support on certain EU-wide compliance (in particular DSA related). The attorney will be based in our Hangzhou main office or in one of our European offices (with a strong preference for Warsaw, Amsterdam or Madrid). The key areas and requirements that we are looking for are those listed below: Primary Responsibilities * Reporting to Head of Legal for Europe, AliExpress, advise on legal aspects of the platform’s international expansion of current and proposed new e-commerce offerings. * Provide advice to business teams on legal aspects of the implementation of commercial agreements, business models and strategies, business operations, marketing activities, and product offerings. * Research local laws and regulations in the local jurisdictions and manage outside counsel. * Support on regulatory enquiries and other requirements, including but not limited to Requests for Information (RFI) under the EU Digital Services Act (DSA) or other legislation. * Provide advice on platform compliance, product listing compliance, local and cross border logistics, import/export, payment acceptance, antitrust and/or unfair competition matters. * Negotiate, draft, and review contracts and commercial agreements. * Develop in-house legal tools and policies, and conduct trainings to business units.

Key Responsibilities: 1. Product Compliance Strategy & Execution Lead the development and implementation of strategies to detect, review, and action prohibited/illegal product listings using smart automation and manual oversight. Create, update, and enforce Seller Policies and SOPs to align with local and EU regulations (e.g., consumer safety, restricted items) and platform standards. Design and optimize smart detection rules to flag high-risk products, ensuring scalability and accuracy. Manage an operations team responsible for manual reviews of product listings, appeals, and seller reports. Define permissible product categories, set requirements (e.g., certifications, documentation), and enforce restrictions. Collaborate with Legal, Product, and Engineering teams to integrate new compliance requirements. 2. User-Generated Content (UGC) Compliance Develop and execute strategies to monitor and moderate prohibited UGC (reviews, images, videos) in compliance with laws and platform guidelines. Establish content policies and moderation workflows, balancing user expression with safety. Build smart detection systems to identify harmful content (e.g., hate speech, fraud) and reduce false positives. Oversee a team handling UGC reviews, user reports, and appeals, ensuring timely resolution. Partner with Product and Data teams to implement UGC compliance tools. 3. Cross-Functional Leadership Advise senior leadership on compliance risks, trends, and mitigation strategies. Drive process improvements through data analysis (using SQL), automation, and stakeholder feedback. Manage compliance-related projects end-to-end, ensuring alignment with business goals.
1. Primarily you will be a very crucial part of the virtual team from Germany for public policy, regulatory affairs, compliance and issue management related to Vehicle Automation & Safety. You ‘sit’ in the regional office which needs a lot alignment between HQ and country offices but you will also ‘act’ in a timely manner to critical issues and sometimes liaise or lead unified programs and activities for the whole region in your domain. You need to collaborate closely with R&D, product planning, test and engineering, homologation, legal and compliance colleagues and external agencies. 2. One of the mandates for this position is to maintain a holistic analytical approach of policy and legislation development at both EU and UNECE levels related to Vehicle Automation & Safety in order to identify opportunities and risks. 3. Develop communication narratives and draft briefing materials and presentations, and advocate legislative, regulatory, and public policy positions in close collaboration with XPENG experts. Support XPENG’s mission of promoting a rapid transition to a much safer and securer advanced assisted driving and automated driving. 4. Being entrepreneurial, build and maintain healthy relationships with various external stakeholders including EU institutions, key member states’ governments, regulatory bodies, trade associations, and assess and explore potential local and regional business relationships and partnerships. Address external stakeholders’ expectations of XPENG in Europe and support steady growth of partnerships. 5.
