工作职责


Based in Shanghai / Hong Kong, this individual will be part of International Business AML Team to support all business lines under Ant International.
We are looking to hire a detail-oriented, hard-working compliance professional to join Ant International. This person will primarily act as the POC (point of contact) to the partner banks regarding AML compliance, and work closely with the business and internal teams to ensure appropriate relationships with the banks to support business growth. The ideal candidate will be a confident self-starter with strong interpersonal and organizational skills, exercise good judgement, experienced in the relevant compliance and AML in payments or financial services industry, and with demonstrable ability to effectively and proactively engage and partner with the business and partner banks in a fast-paced and engaging environment.
• Support the business in establishing or maintaining an appropriate AML control framework to meet the partner bank’s requirements for new business initiatives
• Drive the implementation of any additional AML controls agreed between Ant International and any partner banks
• Lead the due diligence matters initiated by partner banks on Ant International entities and ensure timely and high-quality response to the due diligence
• Collaborate with internal teams to establish clear processes in managing enquiries and/or investigation requests from partner banks (e.g. RFIs) and regulators/law enforcement agencies
• Act as a resource to various AML teams to ensure successful execution of AML/CTF standards and framework or solutions for various business projects / initiatives

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Senior AML Analyst to join our compliance team. Reporting directly to the Director, AML Compliance, you will be responsible for supporting and enhancing the AML/CTF Program through advanced transaction monitoring, due diligence, and regulatory compliance activities. This role is ideally suited for candidates with exposure to fintech, stockbroking, crypto, or CFD trading industries, who can bring practical knowledge of complex products, trading activities, and customer structures into an AML/CTF compliance environment. Duties and Responsibilities: Review, investigate, and escalate unusual transaction alerts, customer activity, and complex cases under the Transaction Monitoring, OCDD, and ECDD frameworks. Assist in the preparation and submission of Suspicious Matter Reports (SMRs) to AUSTRAC. Perform advanced KYC/CDD/EDD checks for both individuals and non-individual accounts (KYB for companies, trusts, and SMSFs). Conduct PEP and sanctions screening, investigate potential matches, and escalate as required. Carry out investigations into potential breaches of the AML/CTF Program and escalate confirmed breaches. Contribute to the enhancement of AML systems, processes, policies, and procedures, ensuring they remain robust and compliant with regulatory requirements. Provide AML advisory support to internal business units, assisting them in identifying and managing ML/TF risks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance obligations are met without compromising customer experience.

- Perform holistic EDD assessments, with a primary focus on event-driven reviews. - Conduct screening and background checks on customers, related parties and counterparties to identify potential risks, including sanctions exposure and adverse media. - Analyse triggers for event-driven reviews and formulate well-structured Requests for Information questions to gather relevant information from customers. - Assess money laundering, terrorism financing and sanctions risk across customer profiles and transactions and provide well-reasoned recommendations on account management strategies. - Conduct investigations into high-risk customer profiles, suspicious transactions and unusual activities. - Prepare and submit STRs to STRO, ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting obligations and adherence to submission timelines. - Prepare insightful Management Information System reports for internal and regulatory reporting, including periodic updates to the Singapore AML team. - Proactively identify opportunities to enhance and optimise the design of EDD rules, processes and frameworks to align with evolving business needs and regulatory expectations. - Provide expert AML/CFT advisory support to business units as required. - Collaborate closely within AML team and other departments within the Bank. - Stay abreast of the latest regulatory developments in AML/CFT and ensure our processes align with industry-leading practices and regulatory guidelines. - Proactively prepare for and navigate regulatory audits to ensure the frameworks and processes remain compliant. - Support the AML team and Team Lead in executing key AML/ CFT initiatives/projects and other ad-hoc compliance matters as required.
