• Bachelor Degree in accounting, business or finance; or equivalent work experience
• At least five years of relevant legal and regulatory compliance experience in financial institutions.
• Strong regulatory/compliance/license advisory knowledge and skills, preferably with Industry knowledge of Fintech, payment systems, money transmitter licensing and stored value licensing and similar legal and regulatory requirements. 
• Team player and ability to work independently, and genuinely Interested in the business of various fintech innovation or business models. 
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. 
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Mandarin in business context with Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with e-commerce, payments or financial services preferred 
• Some travelling to overseas to be expected.

工作职责


The position will be part of a growing and dynamic International Compliance team supporting Ant International’s business, in particular the provision of payments and financial services to corporate customers. 

We are looking forward to a self-motivated, detail-oriented, team-spirited and adaptable compliance/regulatory professional who is able to take the initiative to work closely with internal business, operations and various functional key-stakeholders in Ant International, as well as externally with regulatory bodies or business partners and associates, to support the achievement of business targets and objectives, and to comply with and fulfill regulatory obligations and expectations. 

The ideal candidate will be a confident individual with strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and one who is able to demonstrate the ability to effectively and proactively exercise good judgment and partner with the business in a fast-paced environment. 

 • Support Ant International business, working closely with the business team and the other risk teams including Regional Compliance, Legal, AML, Privacy and Risk Management colleagues in PRC and other international markets, to provide solid regulatory advice and solutions. 
• Work with Regional Compliance colleagues on applications for, and continuing maintenance of, payment institutions, payment systems, wallet and e-money licences, money transfer/ remittance licenses (where applicable) for corporate/SME businesses conducted by Ant International. 
• Serving as point of contact with internal business stakeholders, while work with regional Compliance and other risk colleagues in driving regulatory engagement for new/revised business initiatives. 
• Support the agenda of Ant International compliance function, including developing  
compliance policies and procedures, coordinating with other relevant teams in managing and responding to regulators in relation to AML/Sanctions compliance, data privacy, consumer protection, and providing compliance regulatory risk assessments and program implementation 
• Identify regulatory compliance risks, escalate potential regulatory and policy breaches and issues to Senior Management.
• Conduct internal compliance training from time to time.

Job Summary: The candidate will be part of the expanding Ant International Legal, Compliance, AML and Privacy team, supporting the international business and will be part of the APAC AML Team. The candidate will assist the entity AMLOs in fulfilling the AML responsibilities of entities in South East Asia as needed. We are seeking a meticulous and industrious AML-Compliance professional to collaborate closely with internal stakeholders. The candidate will be versatile and flexible with the ability to manage an ambiguous and dynamic environment with changing priorities. Key Responsibilities: 1. Interpret regulations in collaboration with the AMLO and manage specific AML strategies. These strategies encompass, but are not limited to, those concerning PEPs, monitoring suspicious transactions, maintaining blacklists, conducting EDD, reviewing negative news, and performing CDD. 2. Review and approve the escalation of high-risk accounts and PEP cases, ensuring that significant AML risks and concerns are escalated to the AMLO as necessary. 3. Provide support to the AMLO in addressing regulatory-related requests, including ad hoc requests and inspections. 4. Assist the AMLO in the auditing process and the preparation of regulatory reports, including the Institutional Risk Assessment Report and the Suspicious Transactions Report. 5. Collaborate with the AMLO to identify and mitigate potential areas of AML risk and any existing gaps in compliance practices. 6. Manage inquiries related to AML/CTF and Due Diligence Questionnaires from banking partners and business associates Requirements: 1. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in AML/CFT, financial crime prevention, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years in an AML/CFT compliance role. 2. In-depth knowledge of AML/CFT regulations in Malaysia. 3. Strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin are advantageous. 4. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and perform well under pressure to meet deadlines. 5. Experience liaising with Malaysian regulators is preferred. 6. Certification from ICA, ACAMS, or a similar institution is a plus.

1.Work with each regulated entities’ compliance officers to standardize and harmonize the regulated entities’ outsourcing policies & procedures, develop and maintain an overarching outsourcing framework to manage the risks associated with its outsourced activities, including due diligence processes; 2.Act as the owner and subject matter expert of the outsourcing framework and supporting procedures, working closely with leadership teams, Legal, Compliance, Product teams, Risk Teams, Technology, etc. to ensure these outsourcing functions are meeting regulatory requirements in these licensed jurisdictions; 3.Manage internal governance (including Outsourcing Committee(s) where relevant and approval process are in place and prepare all necessary information for Management approval, at Board level, etc., as appropriate; 4.Work closely with Compliance on regulatory notifications and interactions; 5.Act as primary interface between Legal and the regulated entities in the execution of inter-company agreements, including amendments; 6.Maintain the Outsourcing Register across multiple entities in conjunction with Compliance and Management Teams; 7.Manage the internal monitoring and oversight process, including collating data, challenging service recipients, identifying improvements, tracking actions to completion and reporting to the relevant governance forums up to and included Board level of the regulated entities; 8.Engage in periodic service reviews to ensure that all contracts remain consistent with services delivered and that Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) remain within agreed tolerances; 9.Work with Compliance officers to complete regulatory submissions, as required. Assist business functions in responding to regulatory queries, on-site visit preparation and follow-on requests for information; 10.Participate as necessary in projects for the termination of any outsourced service; 11.Serve as the outsourcing SME on matters related to the outsourcing operations and framework.

1. As the leader of the KYC team, Manage KYC operations based on MAS regulated bank compliance policies and KYC regulatory requirements. 2. Support the business to conduct customer check (KYC/CDD) analysis for new business or initiative. 3. Lead the planning and establishment of KYC capabilities including CDD, PEP, Sanctions, Adverse news review and due diligence capabilities for financing business. 4. Establish and improve KYC product capabilities, including on-boarding system, periodic review system, screening system. 5. Collaborate with middle office and technology team to raise the system requests and to convert the business requirement into product requirement. Implement changes in processes or workflows and drive optimization. 7. Support the Risk and AML operation and link up with the business in case of any escalation.
