We are seeking an Assistant Accounting Manager to play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our financial operations and reporting. You will be responsible for managing our accounting functions, supporting the month-end close process, and developing robust internal controls. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong technical accounting skills and leadership potential. • Support the timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis. • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including fixed assets, payrolls, intercompany transactions and general ledger functions. • Help coordinate annual audits and tax filings Implement and maintain accounting controls/policies Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes • Liaise with external auditors and support the annual audit process. • Drive process improvements and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency within the finance department.
• Support Finance Senior Manager day-to-day accounting operations, focusing on credit and lending businesses, including revenue recognition, accounts receivable, credit risk monitoring, as well as monthly general ledger booking and reporting. • Prepare monthly financial reports, including credit risk analysis, accounts collection and account receivable analysis. • Participate in project team for system or process implementation, and prepare business requirements document for finance related areas. • Recommend and implement financial related internal control and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP), company policies and relevant laws/regulations. • Assist with both internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support. • Liaison with business team to provide support from finance and accounting perspective.
• Support Finance Senior Manager day-to-day accounting operations, focusing on cost and account payable (AP) for monthly general ledger booking and reporting. • Prepare account payables reconciliation and monthly financial reports including accounts settlement and account payable analysis. • Participate in project team for system enhancements or process implementation, and prepare business requirements document for finance related areas. • Recommend and implement financial related internal control and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP), company policies and relevant laws/regulations. • Assist with both internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support. • Liaison with business team to provide support from finance and accounting perspective.
• Managing monthly account booking for specified types of accounting treatment; • Managing monthly financial statement preparation and the analytical reviews; • Ensuring compliance reporting for governance requirements; • Assisting in group consolidation process and the analytical reviews; • Assisting in coordination of the financial audits; • Assisting in daily works including document preparation and filing, meeting arrangement and coordination, meeting minutes recording and so on; • Managing ad hoc tasks assigned by the manager.
The Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in the finance department by ensuring accurate and efficient financial reporting and tax filing in a timely manner, assisting in financial analysis and auditing, and contributing to the overall financial health of the corporation. 1. Accounting Operations: - Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and fixed asset management; - Monitor and review financial transactions, ensuring proper documentation and approval processes are followed; - Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping. 2. Financial Reporting: - Prepare and review financial statements and ensure they are accurate and in compliance with GAAP and local regulations. - Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and ensure timely delivery of required documents. 3. Tax Compliance: - Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations, including IRAS Corporate Tax, GST submission, and other statutory filings. 4. Internal Controls: - Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and controls to strengthen internal controls and mitigate financial risks; - Evaluate and improve internal controls to mitigate financial risks and ensure compliance with company policies; 5. Systems and Processes: - Work with IT and other stakeholders to optimize and improve financial systems and processes. 6. Continuous Improvement: - Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy; - Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure compliance and recommend improvements when necessary. 7. Ad-Hoc Duties: - Perform any additional tasks or projects as assigned by management.
