What we’re looking for: We do not expect candidates to be an expert in all the local tax requirements of all the jurisdictions that Ant International operates in Middle-East. However, we do expect the candidate to have: - Good knowledge of Saudi Arabia tax and exposure to UAE tax, with 8+ years’ experience. - Self-learner. Willing to research topics proactively to minimize the use of external tax consultants. - Hands-on; Willing to look into details. - Able to work proactively and independently and be accountable - Experience in financial industry is not mandatory but good to have. - Previous experience working in-house is preferred. - Qualified Tax professional – CPA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent is advantageous.

What you’ll do: You will be responsible for all tax matters of Ant International in the Middle-East Region. Jurisdictions covered include Saudi Arabia, UAE and other markets that Ant International enter into. Tax Compliance, Reporting and Management: - Ensure full compliance with local tax legislations for the Middle East region, including timely filing of corporate tax, withholding tax, and VAT returns, etc. - Manage the month-end closing process, including monthly CIT provision and transfer pricing calculation. - Manage relationships with Government authorities and external tax advisors; Handle tax enquiry from tax authorities and manage tax controversy, if any. - Manage transfer pricing policy, processes, and procedures in collaboration with the Group tax team. Tax Advisory and Transaction Support: - Support on product launch - Advise on tax implications of business transactions and propose solutions to minimize tax costs, based on in-depth understanding of the business details. - Manage resolutions with tax authorities, e.g. leading advanced tax ruling process, if applicable. - Support on the set-up of new entities; advise on tax efficient structure. - Review and update tax policies and processes, keeping the business and Group tax team informed of tax issues and legislative changes.

Role and responsibilities The Team Currently the ASML Tax & Customs Team includes close to 50 tax and customs professionals residing in the Netherlands based HQ and in the multiple regional/local offices in APAC and the US. The Tax & Customs team includes regional teams (NL/EMEA, Asia and US) and global expertise teams (Indirect tax, Customs, Transfer Pricing, Wage Tax and PMO). ASML’s Tax & Customs team is accountable for the Tax and Customs affairs in all jurisdictions where ASML operates. The flat ASML organization and X-sector approach for addressing business challenges allows the Tax & Customs team to closely interact with the company operations. The Tax & Customs team provides expertise guidance to the business and manages tax/customs risks according to its global strategy approved by ASML Board of Management. In this respect the Tax & Customs team closely collaborates with the other Finance, Legal and Operations teams to ensure appropriate and efficient execution in practice. The Customs Manager is a member of the Customs Affairs team consisting currently of 8 customs professionals (located in NL, TW, KR, US). This position will be located in the Shanghai Head Office and will report to the Global Head of Customs Affairs located in Veldhoven. The Customs Manager will be responsible for all customs related topics and projects from a strategical and tactical point of view for Asia with a focus specifically for China and other markets going forward. As a Principal BD Manager for Fire TV, you will work closely with Senior Leadership, Product Development, GTM, Finance, Legal, Tax, amongst a number of other teams and develop strategic partnerships with major OEMs, ODMs, SOCs, and offline retailers. This role will focus on building relationships with partners across Asia to accelerate Fire TV customer acquisition globally. You will be required to handle multiple high-priority projects simultaneously and effectively negotiate terms that for the benefit of our customers. A day in the life In this role, you will: - Be the business development leader to launch and scale Fire TV globally. - Create and drive consensus on business plans for Fire TV’s launch in multiple countries. - Conduct in-depth study of countries and regional landscapes to identify priority ODMs, OEMs and launch timelines. - Define and negotiate regionally specific commercials with ODMs and OEMs, nuanced around competition, regional legal, tax and costing considerations - Drive joint OEM / brand pitches with ODM partners and enable regionally relevant ODMs to drive Fire TV’s business interests. - Sign regionally relevant offline retailer partnerships. - Validate long-term business critical decisions like country-specific SoC roadmaps. - Work with Product to define regionally relevant customer experiences, customization and scaling requirements.
In this position you will: This role will focus mainly on cross border logistics and cross border business, but will handle other business areas as required. Perform & review the accounting functions within Lazada Group including: Month-end closing, including reviewing accounting entries and accruals Review Balance sheet reconciliation schedules Prepare Balance sheet, profit and loss and reporting packages VAT reporting, withholding tax, transfer pricing and corporate tax reporting Intercompany reconciliation Month vs month analysis of balance sheet and P&L. Ensure local accounting standards application, issue identification and resolution. Work closely with the Shared Services and Outsource team. Work closely with finance business partners to understand the business and review reasonableness of financial statements. Involve and maintain reporting procedures to comply with internal control requirements. Review vendor aging to ensure existence of liabilities, long overdue are reviewed and followed up promptly. Monthly accruals for expenses that are not recorded via the procurement system. Review reporting packages before submission to Regional. Preparation of annual Statutory financial statements. Assist with audit request during annual financial statements audit. Perform continuous assessment of the close process and process re-engineering to reduce the timing to close the financial period. Subject matter expert for key systems, including suggesting improvement areas and documented the SOP. Understand business and process flows, and impact to financial statements. Participate in projects as required.
