1.Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a comparable field 2.At least 5 years of experience in total vehicle development or validation, ideally with exposure to benchmarking and target setting 3.Knowledge of European automotive regulations, vehicle design, vehicle safety, validation processes, and customer-oriented product definition 4.Familiarity with requirements management, benchmarking databases, and validation methods 5.Analytical and conceptual skills, paired with interdisciplinary thinking 6.Analytical mindset, structured working style, and strong team spirit 7.Fluent written and spoken English (report language); German or Chinese skills are a plus 8.Willingness to travel *Note: Please attach your CV in English.

1.Contribute to the definition, documentation, and tracking of vehicle-level requirements based on legal, technical, and customer-driven inputs 2.Support the planning and execution of vehicle validation activities (e.g., crash, NVH, durability, thermal, performance) 3.Assist in benchmark studies of competitor vehicles with focus on system performance, efficiency, packaging, and innovation 4.Coordinate with system teams (e.g., chassis, body, E/E, powertrain) to ensure alignment with overall vehicle targets 5.Create and manage target sheets, validation roadmaps, risk assessments, and technical documentation 6.Present technical results and progress to internal stakeholders and contribute to project milestone deliverables
1.Derive and manage total vehicle requirements based on European legislation (EU/ECE), technical targets, and customer expectations 2.Plan and coordinate the complete vehicle validation and verification throughout the development process (e.g., crash, durability, NVH, safety, performance) 3.Conduct vehicle benchmarking with a focus on Europe: competitor analysis, concept comparison, performance and cost evaluations 4.Align system interfaces, resolve requirement conflicts, and ensure cross-functional integration 5.Prepare and maintain requirement specifications, target sheets, validation roadmaps and maturity reports 6.Support vehicle project milestones, design reviews, and interdisciplinary alignment meetings 7.Contribute to release decisions, target achievement assessments, and technical documentation
1. Plan, coordinate, and execute total vehicle and sub-system tests to validate performance, durability, safety, quality, functions and compliance with relevant standards 2. Support vehicle development from concept through to final validation, including prototype and pre-series testing 3. Take responsibility for the release recommendation (sign-off) of tested systems or components, based on test results and performance evaluation 4. Define and implement test procedures based on technical requirements and regulatory guidelines 5. Operate and monitor vehicle testing equipment and data acquisition systems 6. Analyze test data, document results, and provide detailed technical feedback to development teams 7. Work closely with internal departments, suppliers, and external testing service providers 8. Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodologies, processes, and tools
1. Establish and develop a reliable, innovative and efficient CFD workflow and apply that workflow to product projects 2. Develop and perform windtunnel testing methodology and excection 3. Develop aerodynamic performance of the products jointly with design, vehicle dynamics and total vehicle 4. Develop all fluid systems from an fluid dynamics perspective 5. Ensure thermal management solidity and efficiency together with vehicle dynamics and powertrain 6. Is in charge of one or multiple projects (product or methodology projects) 7. Manages the resources allocated to the project 8. Derives project specific goals and strategies to achieve those goals jointly with process partners 9. Represents all group relevant topcis within the overall project team
THE ROLE Chassis Engineer – Chassis Engineering – Tire Development is responsible for technical development and product launch of new tires in support of current and future vehicle programs. RESPONSIBILITIES • Lead and manage tire development programs from concept to production to field. An ideal candidate has a great ability to research and implement new techniques and technologies in tire design. • Development to improve performance, achieve lighter weight, and integrate smart tire information to enable optimizing total system performance. • An emphasis on understanding and applying engineering fundamentals based solutions is required. • Establish Objective Targets for the Development of Tires for all active development projects • Interact with Global Suppliers to determine the best development partners to enhance Tesla vehicle platform performance – Commercial, Passenger (A/S, Summer, Winter, Track) • Continue evolution to consistant data flow that connects Virtual development to known Tesla platform performance targets in order to accelerate product development towards agrressive goals to improve overall customer experience and improve system effiecieny • Successfully working in a fast paced, detail oriented and highly collaborative team environment • Resolve issues and concerns with cross functional teams including engineering, supply chain, manufacturing and/or service • Evolve Tire Quality Monitoring Tehniques to confirm Production Tire Performance • Participate in sourcing process and interface with supply chain team and suppliers as required. • Execute projects to on-performance and on-time delivery
