Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent • 2+ years of experience in product design or engineering field (preferably consumer electronic products – computers, cell phones, cameras, etc.) • Working knowledge of 3D CAD programs. Unigraphics NX is a plus. • Understanding of Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), statistical tolerance analysis techniques, functional dimensioning, and geometric tolerancing. • Worked within international teams and OEM/ODM vendors. • Proficiency in both Mandarin Chinese and English. Preferred Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in product design or engineering field (preferably consumer electronic products – computers, cell phones, cameras, etc.) • Deep understanding of engineering fundamentals and ability to apply concepts to new problems not listed in engineering textbooks. • Detail orientated, enthusiastic thinker, and capable of handling multiple assignments under high pressure. • Strong analytical problem solving skills and ability to use statistical tools and techniques. • Experience with plastic and metal part design and fabrication techniques. • Experience developing mechanisms in mass-produced products. • Post-processing knowledge for plastic and metal part, including assembly and fixture design.

- You will support product requirements for iPhone/iPad/Mac/Apple Watch/AppleTV/Apple Vision Pro - Bring-up, verification, and triage of new hardware platforms - Work cooperatively with other parts of Apple to diagnose and triage new product introduction (NPI) issues in factory. - You will work with cross-functional teams and help delivering high quality software at fundamental layer of operating system including frameworks, daemons, drivers for both factory and consumers. - You need to keep security and performance in mind, enabling key features while protecting privacy and preventing fraudulence. - Working on technology you will have the opportunity to have a major impact on the implementation and quality of Apple's next generation products. - Up to 10-20% travel.

This individual will play a key role in computer vision/image processing algorithms design and development to enable display and other optical components calibration and metrology. You will work closely with cross-functional groups to ensure the success of current and future Apple display/optical products. Candidate will be responsible for, - Specify, design and implement metrology and calibration algorithms during Apple new product introduction (NPI) process and mass production - Develop, optimize, qualify and debug the algorithms and software - Integrate and validate the algorithms in manufacturing test equipment - Evaluate efficacy of the algorithms as compared to human visual inspection - Define algorithm performance verification specs and review existing algorithms - Collaborate with other team members to deploy the algorithms/SW to factories during the NPI process - Analyze large amounts of NPI performance data
