We’re looking for exceptional people with great auditing skills, problem solving skills, payroll process combined with payroll system knowledge, and customer service passion. Amazon seeks a Payroll Analyst with around 5 years payroll operation experience in a large customer-oriented corporate environment. The Payroll Analyst will take care of complete South Korea payroll operations. It includes end to end payroll processes and the relevant project supports. Responsibilities also include: • Own payroll end to end process • Process payroll with payroll vendor • Audit payroll related data • View and manage human resource data in Peoplesoft • Review and process benefits program in monthly payroll • Review and process Mytime input records for employees • Process new hires, terminations, employee maintenance, setup benefit deductions • Process manual check calculations, work with the vendor to process stop payments/reversals and backup other payroll analysts as needed • Produce timely responses to employee inquiries • Record stock transactions, relocation transactions and processing of annual tax filing activities • Lead payroll project discussions and manage the project progress

We are looking to add to our team of Employment Counsel to meet expanding business needs. You will report to a Legal Director and work alongside other Employment Counsel in the team to support our rapidly growing business internationally. Job Description Conducting employment compliance audit, preparing audit report and recommendations for the business, and overseeing implementation of those recommendations. Support HR team on day-to-day international employment issues across Asia Pacific, Europe, United Kingdom, the Middle East, United States and Latin America (including labour disputes, employee investigations, separations, incentives and benefits, discrimination, pension, immigration, transfer of employment and other employment-related issues). Assist as required on employment issues in M&As and restructuring projects. Review agreements with vendors relating to employee benefits and payroll services. Provide training to internal stakeholders on employment issues and legal updates. Work with HR team to create and maintain policies, procedures, handbooks, and template employment contracts globally, and to ensure these are in line with local law requirements and company practices. Supervise, manage and evaluate outside counsel on employment-related matters. Partner with other team members on other employment or ad hoc projects.
• Perform a full spectrum of GL function and to maintain a full set of accounts. • Perform and manage day-to-day accounting operations (GL, Inter-company, Payroll Accounting, Bank Reconciliation) • Monthly accounting close includes preparing and posting journal entries. • Conduct comprehensive variance analysis to deliver actionable insights, enabling data-driven decision-making and operational optimization for internal stakeholders. • Direct the application of new or changes to corporate, statutory, IFRS and relevant accounting standards/ • Deliver strategic financial expertise, business acumen, and innovative problem-solving to ensure rigorous analysis, actionable recommendations, and executable initiatives for corporate finance engagements. • Help coordinate annual audits and tax filings • Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accounting processes (e.g., AP/AR, reconciliations). • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes • Develop, maintain, and implement policies and procedures for the effective management and control of financial accounting business requirements. • Ensure financial accounting systems are maintained in in good working order and are developed to meet changing business requirements. • Proactively work and collaborate with internal customers to ensure the type and quality of services provided support them in the achievement of their business objectives, and efficiently provide the essential support services to the organization. • Support month-end closing process optimization to reduce cycle time. • Assist with special projects (system implementations, process improvements)
