NVIDIA is now looking for an Intern of System Software Engineers for its Autonomous Vehicle teams. As an intern of our team, you will be responsible for assisting senior engineers on developing and maintaining software to drive the car, given various sensor input devices including Camera’s, LIDAR, RADAR, GPS, IMU and others on Vehicle CAN, work with different teams here to transform the information into driving the car with the best experience. You will work with different teams on all sort of challenging problems for autonomous driving including computer vision, deep learning, object tracking, car controlling. You will help build the software and make it work flawlessly and safely on our driving platform. We expect you to have strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Solid understanding and strong system software experience is a requirement. Experience with GPU technology, image processing, computer vision, and multimedia are highly valued. Familiarity with deep learning / artificial intelligence is desirable. The Department The responsibility of Service Engineering, as part of Vehicle Software Engineering, is to provide end to end engineering solution based on customer needs, to improve product's reliability, serviceability, sustainability and to implement changes to the customers based on high iteration speed. Key responsibilities: Partner with engineering teams to create and update diagnostic information and procedures contained in the diagnostics knowledge base for use by non-engineers. Collaborate with various engineering and quality teams to gather technical information. Understand technical problems and communicate them effectively to non-technical people. Validate information for accuracy and use a routing and review process for document approval. Edit content according to a style guide and enforce organization standards. Improve editorial and visual standards for documentation and recommend new designs, layouts, and formatting as needed. Manage tasks and information flow using collaboration software (such as JIRA, SharePoint, and custom databases). Create and improve internal engineering process documentations Translate technical regulations and communicate with engineering team
