THE ROLE: AMD is searching for talented and motivated individuals to support our open-source, GPU-compute language runtime of the AMD ROCm™ platform. As part of the Language Runtime group in AMD AI GPU Software, you will help build the core compute language runtime powering artificial intelligence, machine learning and high-performance computing applications across workstations, data centers, and supercomputers. This role also involves direct collaboration with customers to understand their requirements, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and ensure successful deployment of AMD technologies.
• Act as the team’s subject-matter expert in graphics engineering • Develop and maintain engine technologies powering one of Riot’s new games • Collaborate closely with technical artists and art teams to realize the game’s visual and creative vision • Monitor and optimize the performance of the game client across platforms • Design, implement, and enhance tools for artists on multiple platforms • Troubleshoot pipeline issues and proactively identify areas for improvement
THE ROLE: AMD’s Strategic Silicon Solutions group is responsible for custom silicon for advanced gaming platforms such as XBOX, PlayStation, and Steam Deck. As a Staff Post-Silicon Power and Performance Validation Engineer you will play a critical role in ensuring our custom silicon products meet power and performance targets and are optimized for customer use cases. You will interact with architecture, firmware, driver, and other teams to develop testplans for new product features, execute studies in a lab environment, and analyze data to validate that the product meets specifications.
You’ll be part of Technical Lead team and take the role of software development engineer for ROCm on Radeon. Work on Radeon AI features readiness including feature enablement, performance optimization, and stack readiness to deliver the best experience for customer’s AI scenarios on AMD’s Radeon products. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Work closely with global G&E Software teams and Custom Software Engineering teams to provide support and solution for the enablement of AI features on Radeon products to OEM/ODM/AIB customers. Deploy/Debug/Profile/Optimize AI models on CRB and customer platforms. Have a strong emphasis on meeting requirements regarding features and schedules. Coordinate closely with peers both locally and internationally to ensure timely and effective communication of all assigned work activities. Coach and mentor less experienced staffs. Influence others as a technical leader.
