THE ROLE
Come join Tesla Sensing Team! We develop state-of-the-art sensor technologies and solutions that enable the best customer driving experiences. You will have an opportunity to participate in conceiving, modeling, and prototyping new sensor solutions. You will be able to learn how a brilliant idea is taken from proof-of-concept to product launch. RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop, integrate, and validate onboard sensor algorithms; propose innovative solutions, implement and test them rigorously, and deliver high-quality results.
Develop firmware for in-vehicle computers, ensuring system functionality, performance benchmarks, and safety/reliability standards are met.
Analyze sensor performance data from Tesla's fleet of millions to tens of millions of vehicles, deriving actionable insights and conclusions.
Build full-stack sensor data monitoring platforms, owning end-to-end development including data acquisition, processing, storage, backend services, and frontend interfaces.
Identify and troubleshoot sensor-related issues reported globally across the vehicle fleet, propose solutions, and drive their implementation.
Collaborate and coordinate cross-functionally with multiple teams to achieve shared project goals.
