Context Works Customer Support Applications team working on sustaining, NPI or customer projects. Interfaces with project leaders and mostly within own sector or project team. Has skill set of multiple competencies to practically make use of knowledge base to resolve issues that have known solution or deep knowledge of single competency enabling to solve new issues and demonstrate solution direction with own analysis.
Introduction to the job Field Application Engineer, base in Beijing. Response for customer process use case support and device performance improvement. Role and responsibilities • Metrology Process Control for both metrology and process improvement including advanced metrology & automation development and data analysis within a holistic scope • Support critical apps escalations from local and drive VHV 3rd line to deliver support on time • Coordinate and introduce ASML new products to the customer and show on-product benefits • Business development support to identify improvement potentials of ASML products to benefit customer. • Engage with ASML D&E and customer R&D team to support NTP for the semiconductor technology solution roadmap definition • Support NTP/NPI project to develop application on new product • Document the structural issues or BKM and rollout to all sites • Be expert in 1 or more competence and help local team grow • Be able to on-call / shift work in customer environment.

Context Works either in Customer Support or in BL Apps (AE, Brion or HMI) and can be located in the field as well as at HQ working on sustaining, NPI or customer projects. Interfaces with project leaders and mostly within own sector or project team. Applies acquired knowledge to the directly related customer problems and industry solutions, and uses this to tackle problems from multiple angles. For a single competency can contribute to translate customer requirements into existing product capabilities and can demonstrate the value of the product for specific customer situation.
