Description - External Responsible for SSIC/AP Px and others category procurement management. Manage transfer in/transfer out projects for the related category. Supplier relationship management for suppliers in own plant, take procurement engineer& supplier leader role when suppliers are across plants. Develop and execute procurement strategy and plans. Ensure supplier performance(SDPM/SOTD/Productivity etc). Participate in cross-functional team in the selection of suppliers to support operation strategy. Work with internal teams to deal with highlight supplier issues, like delivery, quality issues, etc. Evaluate suppliers' productivity, capacity, quality and supplier risk. Negotiate competitive commercial terms for material, fixed assets contracts. Develop and maintain systems to support procurement information needs. Support for plants need and QVE activities. Other transversal project assigned by Line manager.

As a Senior Procurement Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring early involvement of Procurement and suppliers across the entire product journey – from PLM and development to manufacturing. You'll monitor current products to minimize costs, enhance resilience, and drive innovation and sustainability, all while expertly managing interfaces with product development functions. Your leadership will guide cross-functional teams in sourcing the right materials and defining/implementing SNC's material sourcing strategy to meet our growing demands. What will be my responsibilities? In this role, you will: • Drive Early Procurement Involvement: Actively engage with portfolio management before R&D activities commence. Take an active role in product development and manufacturing to ensure all supplier interactions enhance resilience, innovation, and sustainability, reduce complexity, and achieve ambitious product cost targets. • Foster Strategic Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with the R&D community, product management, and PLM teams. Internally, you'll drive collaboration across procurement functions, including Commodity Managers, Local Buyers, and CVEs (Cost Value Engineers). • Align and Deploy Strategy: Ensure seamless alignment between product and procurement strategies, with your procurement strategy actively supporting the PLM team's ambitions, including sustainability and innovation goals. You'll introduce technology roadmaps and facilitate cross-functional discussions, ensuring sourcing decisions align with procurement and safeguard security strategies. • Ensure Material Resilience in Design: Drive material localization and the development/introduction of second sources to optimize our supplier base. Support R&D in component selection during the design phase and secure material availability for new components in new projects before mass production. • Lead Early Supplier Involvement: Organize and lead innovation workshops and concept competitions/projects to achieve the best cost-benefit position and harness external expertise. • Advance Sustainability Goals: Consult with and inspire development teams to design and implement sustainable solutions in product design and procurement. Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to co-develop products that meet stringent sustainability criteria and standards (e.g., RED KPIs and ECO criteria). Implement Carbon Shadow Pricing to integrate the environmental impact of products and materials into procurement decisions.

Siemens Smart Infrastructure is looking for a Cost and Value Engineering (CVE) Technology Expert covering technology & methodology for specific technology like stamping part, sheet metal parts, aluminum casting, material application, electromechanical products, manufacturing process or comparable as well as assembly. As CVE Engineer you work in a global team and are responsible for the cost and value evaluation of purchased parts / components and related manufacturing technology / process through application of all CVE levers to develop quantitative target costs and value drivers, while adhering to quality and supply chain requirements. Evaluate cost impact of alternative technical options (materials, manufacture methods) during the product development process. Advise engineering concerning the most cost-effective solution based on standardized design processes and production methods. • Propose technology-based and lean optimization measures in the supply chain. • Support procurement in negotiation with suppliers. • Determine material field strategy of together with Commodity Management. • Lead projects for cost transparency and optimization • Follow up on implementation of measures

THE ROLE: This dynamic role drives product Quality & Reliability performance of key customers utilizing AMD Client APU/CPU products on their production lines. The directive of this role is to provide a differentiated quality experience, improve customer satisfaction, and to build customer confidence with a focus on AMD customer satisfaction across the Product Introduction & volume ramp phases. This is a high visibility role that acts as a key interface into the following organizations: AMD Customers, AMD Business unit, AMD Silicon & Package Reliability teams, AMD Engineering leadership, AMD Global Product Engineering & Operations organization, and AMD Sales Teams.
