For Mobility Customer Service in Shanghai, we are looking for Site Material Logistic Professional to shape the connected Mobility with us. What are your responsibilities? Material Management: • Develop and implement inventory strategies to ensure optimal stock levels. • Coordinate material procurement plans based on project timelines and milestones. • Assuring the timely and automatically replenishment of consumables and spares prior to the reaching of critically low levels • Ensure all materials meet project specifications, regulatory requirements, and quality standards. • Follow-up of procurement process, monitor and upkeep of procurement documents • Managing the obsolescence problem of spares and finding alternative sourcing when needed. Logistics Coordination: • Manage the transportation and delivery of materials to construction sites, ensuring timely arrival. • Optimize logistics processes to minimize costs and improve efficiency. • Oversee the import/export of materials when required, ensuring compliance with regulations. For more information, please visit: https://us.anker.com/ Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for warehouse operations management, including the inbound and outbound handling of after-sales goods, shelving and usage of inventory, as well as reverse logistics and material scrapping, ensuring on-site inventory matches system records. - Responsible for managing refurbishment and repair operations, including delivery of refurbishment and repair services within the warehouse, improving on-site workflow efficiency and service quality, increasing the timeliness and success rate of refurbishments, and enhancing customer satisfaction with repair services. - Responsible for on-site personnel management, including workforce planning, recruitment, training, attendance, performance evaluation, and team optimization, to enhance the technical skills and productivity of refurbishment and repair staff. - Responsible for warehouse cost and expense management, including budget preparation, expense review, settlement, and expense tracking and analysis, ensuring the reasonableness of warehouse budgets and expenditures. - Responsible for warehouse compliance and risk management, including business license renewals, coordination with regulatory requirements, and ensuring safe warehouse operations to maintain low-risk business performance.
The Role The Supplier Operations Support team within Tesla plays pivotal role in shaping and improving upper stream supply chain excellence and contributing to the company's mission of accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy. Flawless and structured execution in the supply chain is crucial for efficient operations at Tesla's production facilities and ultimately enabling timely delivery of products to customers. As a Supplier Operations Specialist, you will need to ensure that suppliers provide accurate and timely advanced shipment notifications (ASNs), utilize approved packaging, compliant labels and consistent data, and adhere to Tesla's specifications throughout entire procure-to-pay process. Responsibility Manage a portfolio of suppliers, serving as the primary contact for questions and concerns related to shipment execution Develop process documentations and materials. Train and onboard new suppliers, ensuring they understand and comply with Tesla's requirements and standards Communicate with suppliers to root cause, resolve issues that impact Tesla’s operations efficiency and improve their ability to meet Tesla’s requirements. Conduct supply operations assessment at suppliers’ site before selection and during NPI phase to identify risk and improve their ability to meet Tesla’s requirement. Develop, deploy, measure and improve KPIs and create visibility within the supplier and with internal stakeholders on supplier performance and areas needing remediation and improvement. Lead projects incl. suppliers’ operations process improvement, mobile application optimization and deployment to improve overall compliance processes and generate consistent output and upstream supply chain data. • SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: • CLEAR TO BUILD • - Handle the CTB process, ensure the process is working smoothly and we have clear visibility on materials over a 26-week horizon. Partner with the CM’s and the GSSMs (Global Supply and Sourcing Management) on all identified material issues (including sub-tier supply chain) until issues are closed/resolved. • ALLOCATIONS • - Play a meaningful role in the allocation of components that are in tight supply. • - Provide an aggregated view of supply versus demand as the baseline for program and site-allocation decisions. • - Collaborate with the SDMs (Supply Demand Management), OPMs (Operation Program Management) and GSSMs to make sure we allocate parts to contribute the best value. Communicate the allocation strategy with the significant parties. • EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT REPORTING • - Build and maintain reports and summaries on a regular basis to support the business growth. Ensure reports are concise and on time to drive business decision making. • NEW PRODUCT MATERIALS READINESS • - During New Product Introduction (NPI) phase, lead material readiness to ensure that we understand the supply base and related challenges - Identify critical engineering release breakthroughs; assess necessity for risk ramp and associated liabilities, to ensure material supply for product ramp is protected. • - Identify issues early in the NPI phase and monitor/drive these to resolution prior to ramp. • - Identify supply chain on modules and components to ensure that we understand any challenges associated with the new product. • EXCESS & OBSOLETE • - Lead phase-out of obsolete parts and the transition to new production materials. • - Identify and mitigate E&O in advance to ensure we make the correct company decisions regarding build plan changes, cut-in vs. roll-in requirements, post ramp qualification opportunities, etc. • - Highlight parts with liability and propose solutions to management. • - Upon Engineering Change Notice (ECN) or End of Production (EOP) events, track & audit E&O claims, report to Finance for financial reserves, and ensure timely resolution and closure of such claims/reserves. • LOGISTICS • - Ensure the smooth flow of materials necessary to meet the production schedules, inventory control requirements, and on-going production support.
