Role Purpose
The Senior Treasury Manager is responsible for the active management of Siemens China’s liquidity, including money market investments, loans and funding activities, alongside execution and advisory of FX transactions. 
The role plays a key part in liquidity optimization, funding strategy, and cross-border cash management (PBOC and SAFE structures), ensuring efficient capital deployment within regulatory frameworks.
It also provides forward-looking market insights and proactive currency advisory to operating companies, while driving digital transformation and AI-driven treasury initiatives, with strong governance and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities
1. Liquidity, Funding & Capital Management
•	Actively manage loan portfolios (internal and external) and coordinate bank financing and facilities.
•	Support and execute funding strategies across short-term and long-term horizons.
•	Maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions. 
•	Stay informed and observant of capital markets developments (rates, credit markets, bond issuance) to support funding decisions.

2. Money Market & Investment Management
•	Actively manage money market investments and interbank placements within risk limits.
•	Optimize portfolio returns while monitoring liquidity, tenor, and counterparty exposure.
•	Develop independent market views to support investment decisions.

•	Manage and optimize cross-border cash pooling structures, including PBOC and SAFE schemes.
•	Ensure regulatory compliance while improving cash mobility and efficiency.
