In Schneider Electric Shanghai R&D Center, you will work as an innovative Electronic Design Engineer to: - Find solutions in accordance with the whole project objectives of Marketing, Quality and Industrialization. - Understand all the technical constraints (drawing, specification, assembly conditions and interchangeability requirement), provide technical support to plants worldwide (Asia, Europe, North America etc.); - Define component & product verification/validation plan and lead the implementation of product evolution; - Lead the implements of technical corrective/upgrade actions; - Lead technical complexity breakthrough per project requirement to achieve technical and business targets; - Propose creative and constructive electronic resolution by deeply understand real customer needs;

- You will develop understanding for an Apple-designed product through architecture block diagrams, schematics, datasheets, as well as interactions with the global design teams. - You will be responsible for circuit or sub-system design, including architecture, early derivation/simulation analysis, component selection, schematic capture, PCB placement, layout, bring-up, and validation. - You will interact with California design teams frequently; work closely with other teams in Greater China areas as well. - You will interact with our contract manufacturers’ EE teams, driving them to a high level of quality.
You are responsible for provide the leadership to the sDRI team, to develop and integrate system solutions that is flexible and mass-production friendly to calibrate and inspect fully assembled devices. The team will work on system design, development, and factory deployment during new product introduction (NPI) stage, with the support from SW/HW functional teams. - Manage a team of 5+ engineers with strong leadership and problem solving ability. - Work closely with design engineers, vendors, and operations teams to drive delivery of integrated systems aligned with overall project schedule - Act as lead system integrator, monitoring overall project status & securing / allocations resources needed to succeed - Lead prototype build activities; driving schedule, tracking issues to closure, managing experiments, and reporting progress - Cross-functionally communicate key developments and updates on new projects/products - Drive the day-to-day activities to meet the overall program objectives focusing on process within engineering design, build, and validation cycles
THE ROLE Tesla is seeking a skilled and motivated mechanical design engineer in the Autopilot, Infotainment and Electronics Product Design team. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to perform mechanical design activities for Tesla vehicle systems, including to define product requirements and develop specific implementations. RESPONSIBILITIES Top to down modeling and design of mechanical components and sub systems including plastics, sheet metal, heat sinks, PCBs, I/O connectors, etc. Design analysis including parts, structural, design for assembly, and design for validation. Experience with failure analysis, root cause, and solution implementation internally and at contract manufacturer as well. Assist in engineering prototype quick builds and components fabrication. Complete validation tests, perform data analysis, brainstorm potential solutions and implement improved designs. Provide production support to help identify and resolve issues on site.
