Responsibilities: • Drive exciting new monetization strategy and content that allow players to express themselves and customize their game experience • Drive monetization related system features design and related content production with development team • Support Riot on the daily operations and production of Fight for the Golden Spatula, and work with our partners on further developing game content • Assist the production team and product managers with being involved in game production projects, improve feature landing efficiency and collaborating with partners to optimize players’ experiences • Be responsible for continuous efforts in understanding players, monitoring and analyzing in-game and around game experiences performance in FFGS • Follow closely on market trends for in-game social and growth product features, while gathering market and competitor intelligence to inform our own strategy
• Define the event strategy for each patch, setting clear direction, priorities, and success criteria aligned with broader product and patch objectives. • Own the overall planning and delivery outcomes of events, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality execution without directly owning day-to-day implementation for standard events. • Translate Patch strategy and product goals into clear, executable event plans that support different player needs, including core engagement, key login moments, and differentiated player segments. • Provide clear direction, design guidance, and quality reviews for events created by designers and producers on the Live-Experience team, ensuring alignment on goals, complexity, and player experience. • Analyze post-launch performance, conduct holistic reviews, and apply learnings to continuously improve future events. • Personally design and lead high-complexity large-scale or flagship events when needed, including complex events or mini-games, while thoughtfully integrating monetization execution in support of business goals.
• Lead a high-performing BD team focused exclusively on the Gaming industry, managing complex, high-value accounts with global reach. • Hire and scale a team with deep gaming market expertise, ensuring strong industry know-how in areas such as game development, publishing, live ops, and game tech infrastructure. • Navigate multi-stakeholder, cross-functional decision-making processes across enterprise gaming accounts. Orchestrate internal AWS teams across solution architecture, marketing, partner, and product functions to support global gaming customer needs. • Understand the business models and monetization strategies of gaming customers; craft and negotiate commercial proposals that drive adoption of AWS services. • Act as a senior voice in the negotiation of key commercial relationships, including licensing, co-development, cloud migration, or platform partnerships specific to gaming clients. • Resolve escalations with discretion and autonomy, influencing product or service enhancements that remove friction for gaming customers. • Present compelling business cases to AWS senior leadership and evangelize AWS’s gaming solutions externally. • Build executive relationships with C-level leaders across gaming publishers, studios, and technology providers, representing AWS as a strategic partner in the global games ecosystem. • Own a product space that provides LOL and TFT game developers with features they need that are specific to Tencent Regions. • Manage essential customer and partner relationships, including game teams and central platform teams that support your product space. • Create a product roadmap and manage a prioritized backlog for your product space, ensuring your team is working on the highest value work. • Actively manage project scope as a result of customer and partner feedback and ensure the product development is aligned with objectives. • Partner with your Engineering Manager peer to successfully execute projects through the development lifecycle, from discovery to release. • Develop and uphold service-level objectives and agreements for your product space, in collaboration all core customers and supporting organizations. • Partnering with the other Shanghai Tech Team leads, foster a high velocity, high performance organization.
• Ensure that operations in APAC meet desired performance metrics in the region • Serve as Live Operation’s primary representative • Coordinate with game publishing teams to ensure publishing efforts match product deliveries • Create program plans with cross functional teams such as creative, architecture, operations, technical teams, and leadership • Evangelize processes and delivery methodologies to ensure we accomplish our program goals • Facilitate and manage Agile project management ceremonies and processes for large or team-of-team project teams • Organize program-level planning, communication, and team member rituals • Manage risks and issues across programs and within teams • Foster transparency and predictability by building and maintaining roadmaps for assigned programs • Maintain partner relationships, providing visibility into workstreams and maintaining partner satisfaction • Collaborate with multiple operations’ leadership to ensure that our games operate at the same or better level of quality as other regions
