工作职责
• Ideate and create character concepts towards the creative vision • Communicate characters personalities and emotions through the character design • Discover and incorporate interesting trends and non-traditional reference • Craft detailed concept art for production artists • Continuously deliver high quality concept assets that fulfill the requirements of the project’s game and visual design • Collaborate with with artists on the team by providing and receiving creative/team feedback • Work closely with 3D Artists to ensure concepts are smoothly translated into the production stage • Continuously seek out and apply diverse references and visual inspirations to keep designs fresh and engaging • Understand League of Legends characters and recognize opportunities to enhance champion expression • Understand and clearly articulate the product’s unique visual style, while supporting and maintaining that style • Consistently embody and practice company values in both work and collaboration. • Support team leadership in operational tasks while maintaining high standards of work quality • Assist in developing the skills of team artists, ensuring consistency of artistic style across the team’s work • Contribute to setting and advancing team goals, helping the team achieve key objectives • Proactively solve problems, pursue creativity with passion, and lead by example • Mentor artists in their craft • Meet project deadlines in a timely manner without compromising artistic integrity
• Collaborate closely with our concept artist with the development of skin concepts, from initial sketches to final turnarounds. • Provide clear, constructive feedback and guidance to external concept artists to maintain and elevate the quality of the concepts. • Collaborate with the development team to ensure the concepts are feasible and aligned with the game’s mechanics and story. • Manage concept art workflows to meet production timelines and milestones, be it with internal or external stakeholders. • Develop and maintain relationships with external artists and studios, ensuring a productive and positive working environment.
• Reliably produce high-quality look and feel 3D Environment with exceptional visual representation, executing tasks independently and constantly raising or redefining standards • Create high-quality stylized 3D Environment assets from concept to in-engine implementation, aligned with the creative direction. • Help guide the look and feel of 3D assets ranging from hard surface structures to organic foliage • Influence level and 3D asset creation pipeline with your understanding of optimization to take into account efficiency and cross dependencies • Work with various materials from hand painted diffuse to PBR workflows • Proficient in lighting techniques and the aesthetics of light and shadow. • Interpret and push concept designs to the next level while taking into account technical and design constraints such as draw calls, poly counts, texture memory limits, and gameplay boundaries • Communicate with various other disciplines to ensure all assets are performant • Help guide and mentor members of the team • Solve complex production challenges, collaborate effectively across disciplines, and ensure all assets meet the project's vision and creative direction. Actively participate in optimization and iteration processes • Easily understand and clearly articulate the product’s distinctive visual style, while supporting and maintaining it • Consistently reflect and uphold company values in your work and interactions • Maintain high standards for work quality and output, while supporting team leadership in operational efforts • Assist team artists in skill development and maintain artistic consistency across the team • Help shape team initiatives and collaborate with the team to drive goal achievement • Proactively solve problems, passionately pursue creativity, and lead by example
• Develop and nurture a clear artistic vision for our marketing creatives from character illustrations and 2D animations. • Be an integral part of the Marketing art team and work closely with internal teams and external partners. • Participate in evaluating, selecting, and managing our roster of external creative partners: External creative agencies, animation studios, and freelance artists. • Create sketches, concept art, and illustrations to visualize the project vision and provide draw-over and paint-over to guide our partners to be aligned. • Ensure that everything we produce is world-class in quality and authentic to our game worlds, and actively helps our IP last for decades.

About the Role As a Senior Combat Designer, you will be part of a collaborative, multi functional team taking part in the design and execution of combat systems for mobile projects; You will be responsible for the process and results of the combat system design and implementation. Job Responsibilities Collaborate on the vision and direction of the combat system with the leads and other designers, aligning with the project's Business, Art and Creative direction; Define workflow and full cycle for combat system production if needed To achieve optimal efficiency, foster collaboration and contribute to a team that includes members from various departments and backgrounds; Define the high-level direction of combat style and key features such as 3c, mobility, and encounter design on paper to illustrate the general intention; Provide reference games to set up the quality and scope benchmark; Use necessary prototype tools such as paper design/board game, flash, and animation to validate the combat concept before going into production; Cooperate with artist and programmer by initiating necessary art and code requirements to create a playable demo on mobile; Create necessary level elements: layout, enemy, boss, and interactive objects with the help of level designers; Iterate and polish the combat system following internal and external feedback Work with numerical and system designers to create key meta components: character and weapon based on combat system.
