• Franchise & Audience Foundations: build practical audience maps (fans, lapsed, new-to-IP; by region/age) and psychographics that E&P and partners use in pitches and planning Franchise & Audience Foundations • Partner & Category Enablement: provide category landscapes, brand/talent fit scores, and audience-overlap proof to strengthen sell-in for entertainment, licensing, LBE, and major brand collaborations Partner & Category Enablement • Player Surveys: stand up and run surveys inside and outside our games to capture player preferences (e.g., “rank your favorite shoe brands,” character/feature/creator affinity). Build a reusable question bank, sample by cohort, and partner with Analytics to join survey responses to anonymized telemetry for validation. Turn results into “player proof” one-pagers that guide partner selection, deal positioning, and creative direction Player Surveys • Creative & Campaign Insight: run rapid qual/quant content testing for trailers, animatics, key art, titles, and casting; provide simple go/no-go thresholds tied to recall, consideration, and talkability. • Own Top-to-Bottom Production Oversight: Manage day-to-day production for animated and live-action projects, from development through post, ensuring timelines, budgets, and creative standards are met. • Bridge Strategy & Execution: Work across film, TV, and marketing pipelines, bringing both indie resourcefulness and studio-scale rigor to productions. • Animation Production Leadership/Expertise: Establish and track production schedules, workflows, and milestones, collaborating closely with the development team, directors, producers, and vendor studios. • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with internal game teams, marketing, and external production partners to align storytelling, brand integrity, and Supercell’s creative goals. • Problem-Solve in Real Time: Anticipate challenges, build scenarios, and pivot quickly to keep projects moving forward without compromising quality. • Bring the Supercell Spirit to Hollywood: Represent Supercell’s player-first mindset in conversations with studios, vendors, and talent.
• Lead a high-performing BD team focused exclusively on the Gaming industry, managing complex, high-value accounts with global reach. • Hire and scale a team with deep gaming market expertise, ensuring strong industry know-how in areas such as game development, publishing, live ops, and game tech infrastructure. • Navigate multi-stakeholder, cross-functional decision-making processes across enterprise gaming accounts. Orchestrate internal AWS teams across solution architecture, marketing, partner, and product functions to support global gaming customer needs. • Understand the business models and monetization strategies of gaming customers; craft and negotiate commercial proposals that drive adoption of AWS services. • Act as a senior voice in the negotiation of key commercial relationships, including licensing, co-development, cloud migration, or platform partnerships specific to gaming clients. • Resolve escalations with discretion and autonomy, influencing product or service enhancements that remove friction for gaming customers. • Present compelling business cases to AWS senior leadership and evangelize AWS’s gaming solutions externally. • Build executive relationships with C-level leaders across gaming publishers, studios, and technology providers, representing AWS as a strategic partner in the global games ecosystem. A day in the life As you design and code solutions to help our team drive efficiencies in software architecture, you’ll create metrics, implement automation and other improvements, and resolve the root cause of software defects. You’ll also: • Build high-impact solutions to deliver to our large customer base. • Participate in design discussions, code review, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders. • Work cross-functionally to help drive business decisions with your technical input. • Work in a startup-like development environment, where you’re always working on the most important stuff.
• Develop a deep understanding of player needs and behaviors to define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Moments and Gameplay Workstreams, achieving both player and business impact. • Translate product strategy into actionable plans and execution frameworks—setting clear goals, success metrics, and delivery milestones to ensure strategy is realized in live player experiences • Build and manage a high-performing team to drive player growth by developing core gameplay capabilities, including Summoner’s Rift and Rotating Game Modes. • Orchestrate across product owners and workstreams to deliver cohesive player high-impact login moments and engagement beats that maximize impact. • Partner with design, creative, production, insights, and publishing to create impactful features, fostering a learning-centric culture that reduces risk and improves decision-making over time. • Coach and mentor other Game PMs to strengthen product craft, decision-making, and player empathy across the team.
