• Lead the Government Affairs function of Lazada Vietnam; • Monitor policies, administrative and/or legislative developments, evaluate potential impact of legislative, administrative, and other proposals that may affect Lazada, and coordinate with related functional teams for internal alignment on next steps • Research and develop (in collaboration with Legal and functional teams as appropriate) position papers, talking points to convey the company’s messages to relevant government stakeholders • Lead/support the development of profile building initiatives and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to manage the implementation • Lead the arrangement of workshops and/or meetings between Lazada and government stakeholders (e.g. meeting setup, talking point / presentation development, minutes taking as needed, etc.) • Support the government affairs work of the Alibaba Group as needed • Other assignments as requested by the Executive Vice President and Group Head of Government Affairs
1.Crucial part of the virtual team for public policy, regulatory and government affairs, compliance and issue management. 2.In the regional office which needs a lot alignment between HQ and regional offices but will also ‘act’ in a timely manner to critical issues and sometimes liaise or lead unified programs and activities for the whole region. 3.Collaborate with legal and compliance colleagues and external agencies. 4. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Government Affairs Manager to lead our public policy and government relations strategy in Türkiye, as part of the growing Xiaomi International Legal & GR Team in a highly dynamic and international environment. You will support the business of Xiaomi Türkiye with your proven expertise and pragmatic, business oriented and pro-active advice. In this role, you will not only set the strategic direction and priorities but also drive execution to achieve our policy goals. You will craft and implement proactive advocacy campaigns, develop clear and compelling policy positions, and transform complex regulatory and legislative issues into powerful messages for decision-makers. Your work will be supported by robust evidence and data. You will represent Xiaomi Türkiye with senior policymakers, regulators, and public institutions, building and nurturing partnerships with think tanks, academics, industry associations, and business groups to elevate our policy impact. Internally, you will engage closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our public policy strategy aligns with our business objectives and operational realities. This role will be based in Istanbul, with regular trips to Ankara and occasional international travel.
