Role Overview: 1.As the Senior Public Policy Manager for countrywide operations, you will design and execute strategies to build trust with government entities, policymakers, and regulatory bodies. 2.This role is critical to establishing Keeta’s presence, ensuring compliance, and advocating for policies that support our mission. 3.You’ll operate in a lean, cross-functional startup environment, requiring agility, creativity, and the ability to navigate ambiguity. Key Responsibilities: 1.Develop and implement a countrywide government affairs strategy aligned with business priorities. 2.Build and maintain relationships with key government stakeholders at the countrywide, regional, and municipal levels. 3.Monitor legislative and regulatory developments, providing actionable insights to internal teams. Advocate for policies that foster innovation while mitigating risks to operations. 4.Collaborate with legal, communications, and business teams to align government outreach with company goals. 5.Represent Keeta in industry associations, public forums, and policy dialogues. 6.Proactively address potential regulatory challenges and crisis scenarios. 7.Support the growth of cross-functional teams by providing regulatory guidance in early-stage initiatives.
1.Crucial part of the virtual team for public policy, regulatory and government affairs, compliance and issue management. 2.In the regional office which needs a lot alignment between HQ and regional offices but will also ‘act’ in a timely manner to critical issues and sometimes liaise or lead unified programs and activities for the whole region. 3.Collaborate with legal and compliance colleagues and external agencies. 4. One of the mandates for this position is to maintain a holistic analytical approach to policy and legislation development at regional level with priority and focus, covering topics of trade, climate, transport & mobility, digitalization and data, ESG, etc., in order to identify opportunities and risks. 5. Develop communication narratives and draft briefing materials and presentations, and advocate legislative, regulatory, and public policy positions in close collaboration with XPENG experts. 6. Being entrepreneurial, build and maintain healthy relationships with various external stakeholders including government institutions, key member states’ governments, regulatory bodies, trade associations, think tanks, media, and subject-matter experts on regional level. Address external stakeholders’ expectations of XPENG in Southeast Asia. 7. Participate in relevant events and represent XPENG in meetings and organize engagement activities.
• Lead the Government Affairs function of Lazada Vietnam; • Monitor policies, administrative and/or legislative developments, evaluate potential impact of legislative, administrative, and other proposals that may affect Lazada, and coordinate with related functional teams for internal alignment on next steps • Research and develop (in collaboration with Legal and functional teams as appropriate) position papers, talking points to convey the company’s messages to relevant government stakeholders • Lead/support the development of profile building initiatives and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to manage the implementation • Lead the arrangement of workshops and/or meetings between Lazada and government stakeholders (e.g. meeting setup, talking point / presentation development, minutes taking as needed, etc.) • Support the government affairs work of the Alibaba Group as needed • Other assignments as requested by the Executive Vice President and Group Head of Government Affairs
1. Primarily you will be a very crucial part of the virtual team from Germany for public policy, regulatory affairs, compliance and issue management related to Vehicle Automation & Safety. You ‘sit’ in the regional office which needs a lot alignment between HQ and country offices but you will also ‘act’ in a timely manner to critical issues and sometimes liaise or lead unified programs and activities for the whole region in your domain. You need to collaborate closely with R&D, product planning, test and engineering, homologation, legal and compliance colleagues and external agencies. 2. One of the mandates for this position is to maintain a holistic analytical approach of policy and legislation development at both EU and UNECE levels related to Vehicle Automation & Safety in order to identify opportunities and risks. 3. Develop communication narratives and draft briefing materials and presentations, and advocate legislative, regulatory, and public policy positions in close collaboration with XPENG experts. Support XPENG’s mission of promoting a rapid transition to a much safer and securer advanced assisted driving and automated driving. 4. Being entrepreneurial, build and maintain healthy relationships with various external stakeholders including EU institutions, key member states’ governments, regulatory bodies, trade associations, and assess and explore potential local and regional business relationships and partnerships. Address external stakeholders’ expectations of XPENG in Europe and support steady growth of partnerships. 5. Participate in relevant events and represent XPENG in meetings and organize engagement activities. Explore and develop related collaborative projects.
【Government Relations】 Develop and maintain strong relationships with key government officials, agencies, and stakeholders at the local, regional, and national levels, such as GACA, MCIT, TGA, etc. Monitor and analyze policy and regulatory developments affecting UAV operations in Saudi Arabia. 【Policy Advocacy】 Develop and execute strategies to promote policy advancements that support drone delivery services in Saudi Arabia. Actively participate in industry associations and forums to influence the development of UAV-related regulations. 【Regulatory Compliance:】 Ensure the company’s operations comply with all relevant government regulations. Guide regulatory changes and their impact on the business. 【Communication】 Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and government officials. Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and policy briefs to senior management and government entities. 【Partnership Development】 Identify and develop strategic partnerships with government bodies, industry associations, and other stakeholders to advance the company’s interests. Develop public affairs initiatives that educate stakeholders about the benefits and potential of drone delivery systems.
