Job Description: Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the successful candidate will be part of a growing Global Policy Think Tank team, this role involves working closely with colleagues globally, supporting Ant International’s mission to offer digital services that facilitate the sustainable growth of global commerce and to bring more inclusive, green, and sustainable changes to the digital ecosystem. The candidate will report to Director of Business Development and Government Affairs, Malaysia. We are looking to hire a dynamic, proactive, versatile professional with a strong grasp of the evolving geopolitical trends, global economic headwinds, cross-border digital economy and payment landscape globally. The work environment is highly matrixed, cross-functional and require the candidate to collaborate effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders across diverse professional backgrounds, countries and cultures. Main Responsibilities: -Analyze the political, economic and payment system dynamics of Ant International’s business and solutions in key global markets — monitor policy and regulatory developments, anticipate risks and opportunities, evaluate their potential impact and proposed mitigation strategies. -Deliver high-quality macroeconomic analysis in key markets regularly. Contribute to short, quick reactive pieces, and in longer-term in-depth analysis and briefings on economic matters that have a direct impact on cross-border investment, trade, travel and etc. -Play a central role in tracking country-level policy developments, evaluate and effectively communicate with the internal and external stakeholders on key legislative, policy, and regulatory efforts across our key markets and sectors. Work closely with local country-based colleagues to assess its potential impact on our business globally. -Manage key industry-level policy/sustainability-related reports from multinational organizations such as FSB, BIS, IMF, WEF etc, to understand its influence on policy directions. -Build and expand a large and high-quality network of contacts through academic and think tanks, local government agencies, businesses, and other thought leaders. -Work closely with our internal Business Intelligence, and Strategic Planning teams to generate business briefings for governmental engagement on a bi-annual basis.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Government Affairs Manager to lead our public policy and government relations strategy in Türkiye, as part of the growing Xiaomi International Legal & GR Team in a highly dynamic and international environment. You will support the business of Xiaomi Türkiye with your proven expertise and pragmatic, business oriented and pro-active advice. In this role, you will not only set the strategic direction and priorities but also drive execution to achieve our policy goals. You will craft and implement proactive advocacy campaigns, develop clear and compelling policy positions, and transform complex regulatory and legislative issues into powerful messages for decision-makers. Your work will be supported by robust evidence and data. You will represent Xiaomi Türkiye with senior policymakers, regulators, and public institutions, building and nurturing partnerships with think tanks, academics, industry associations, and business groups to elevate our policy impact. Internally, you will engage closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our public policy strategy aligns with our business objectives and operational realities. This role will be based in Istanbul, with regular trips to Ankara and occasional international travel. Texas Instruments is seeking a Director of Public and Business Affairs in China to spearhead efforts to maintain TI’s position as a valued technology partner with manufacturing in the region. As Director of Public & Business Affairs, China, you will be responsible for the company’s strategic relationships with Chinese government authorities, policy-makers, industry/trade associations and academic institutions relevant to TI’s business. The trade and regulatory environment in China will be a key focus of the role, as will maintaining effective manufacturing operations, corporate functions, and product distribution in China. This position will have a direct report who manages government relations and related responsibilities in Chengdu. This role will be based in Beijing or Shanghai and will dual-report to the Vice President, Global Government Relations (Washington DC) and Vice President, China Sales and Applications (Shanghai). Position Roles and Responsibilities • Establish, cultivate and maintain long-term, constructive relationships with key Chinese government authorities (central and provincial), as well as affiliated institutions, associations/alliances, think-tanks, academic institutions, and other stakeholders relevant to TI’s business. • Provide support to maintain effective manufacturing operations in Chengdu, China corporate functions and product distribution. • Develop and execute government engagement strategies and partnership programs with targeted stakeholders in alignment with corporate business objectives. • Work with our communicators to craft compelling messaging showcasing the value proposition of TI solutions in the China market. • Engage authorities concerning our business and policy goals and the potential impact of proposed policies and regulations on the company, its commercial partners and the broader ecosystem. • Monitor, anticipate and analyze key policy and regulatory developments that may impact TI’s business and commercial partnerships. • Advise the China leadership team and other corporate leaders on policy-related risks and opportunities and recommend options and solutions on both business and policy issues. • Establish strong communication channels with internal colleagues in China and the US to keep them informed of key developments and trends.
